Aw, don't say that. I only logged on for a moment that's why my message was so
short. All ideas are welcome. It's interesting but it doesn't fit with my
underlying theme i've been preparing for the Olympiad. I promise, this won't be
like every other contest we've seen or done (although parts are familiar). This
weekend i'll try posting a preliminary thread about the Olympiad to explain a
bit and get the word out. Hopefully my fellow NWPers will help spread the word
and get many others involved....when the time comes. In the meantime, please
wait for my "press release" and smile....
...i'll use you idea for another one of our "projects".
BTW, i read the story. It was a bit hard to read considering there were no
paragraphs. All in all, it was a very interesting story. The syntax of some
sentences was a bit awkwards but nothing too bad. Kinda sad story too. I think
the thing i wanted to see most was an actual conclusion. It felt way too open
ended. Even if a brief thought or something else along the same lines, the short
story needed to be wrapped up. Otherwise it feels as if you're in the middle of
a book and the book just ends.
i know it is selfish, but i'm posting a short story i wrote for a presentation
in one of my classes tomorrow and i'd like to see what you other nwp'ers think
of it. nasty plug, sorry, in my guestbook is where it will appear, byt the way,
daft punk rocks. cheers.

well for the olympiad thingy. here is an idea for a round. the judges, as they
are biased in all there judging, judge and comment on a piece before it is
drawn. then, the artist that is linked with that judge uses that stimulus to
create a picture. just an idea. cheers.

Arete is almost over and summer (for some of us) is almost upon us...the time is
soon approaching for the MT OLYMPIAD to begin.....soon

the thread that your in since i tihnk were gonna start this soon. oh and also
should mention, its not a contest anymore, just a project. go to thread for more

crapmonster- sounds interesting but the key is finding impartial judges. we
cannot afford a disaster like WAR which was brilliantly planned but judged with
neolithic incompentence...

personally i don't do well in structured competitions but would be up for the
challenge..
DC- good to hear you will "be here".. but remember you create art for
yourself [primarily] as you know and why say "i shall never do this or
that". that boxes you in and limits your options. also as kuroimisa hinted;
i love your artwork not only because it's easily one of the strongest
technically speaking but more importantly because they have GREAT MEANING or
PURPOSE. imo- this is essential to making art. art must have a point. i
seriously miss these wallpapers of yours but am proud of your original works as
well. you are one of my favourite digital artists.
btw- i may make you 2 sets of av/sigs. one being totally crappy and the other
quite good
