interested because you mentioned it, i watched Zetsuai. and i have to say...man,
that's a lot of angst. and the ending was...so open-ended. i haven't watched
bronze yet, but i read a review on it and wow, still lotsa angst. it was pretty
interesting though. did you read the manga too?
Yes ^^ I read both the Zetsuai and the Bronze Mangas and if you liked the
Zetsuai anime I really recommend you read the mangas as well, because those are
far better than the anime. I especially like Bronze though I didn't watch the
anime yet... yes, it's a lot of angst, but during the Mangas there are a lot of
cute and funny situations ^_^

And i've heard a lot of good things about Kizuna, but i haven't read it yet. did
you read the manga or watch the ova's? which would you recommend
actually?
I read the manga up to volume 10 so far and they get better each time.
Concerning the anime I just watched a trailer... Some people say the anime is
not worth buying but in my opinion the scenes that I saw there were okay, though
the anime might lack the depth of the manag story... well, I think it's a
question of preference. ^^ so... to get to your question. In general I think
it's better to read the manga first...
A-hoi hoi to swen and sweetandrogny and kiyomi and yoshe and anyone else i

I read somewhere that princess princess has practically no elements of
shounen-ai because the magazine featuring it asked Mikiyo Tsuda not to. is that
true? none of the boys fall in love with each other? ever? i'm watching it, but
i haven't gotten very far. And the idea disappoints me because her shounen-ai
works are a lot of fun.
i just realized how rude it was to talk about statistics when i didn't even give
any about myself. I'm heterosexual female with bi-curious leanings (bad for my
bf?) my favorite kind of story pairing is probably sempai/kouhai or
sensei/student with the student/kouhai as the seme. meaning if i'm reading a
summary i'm attracted to status differences, but i always like individual pairs
better when the couple is of equal status. and no blood or heavy bondage. i'm of
the faint hearted group.
And hey, to all the loveless fans out there, have you read the manga too? is it
good compared to the anime?

really explicit but her storylines are hilarious.
aahh, yes, I know Mikiyo Tsuda.
I didn't know she was publishing under a pseudonym, though. I just read Princess
Princess volume one a few days ago. It's great ^.^ it's really a pity that she's
not a little bit more explicit.

Prince of Tennis is a 178 episode anime about the various unbelievable ways to
smack a tennis ball around. I wasn't interested in the beginning, but they grew
on me and now...i'm a fangirl. I recommend it as something fun to watch if you
have tons of time and no other anime lined up.
I already realized there are a lot of Prince of Tennis fans. But I never
bothered. Actually I don't like those hypes. It was the same with me when Harry
Potter and the Lord of the Rings appreared. I just hated all that great fuss
about it and didn't watch the films and read the book until everyone calmed down
a bit. Well but now I'm fan as well. Maybe Prince of Tennis is worth a look,

wondering about the statistics of the yaoi fandom. i've heard that it's mostly
girls, but then i wonder...hetero/lesbian/bi girls? age distribution among the
different types of yaoi stereotypes (i.e. student/teacher.)? and so on. sorry,
maybe i'm just over-analyzing.

Zetsuai/Bronze (it's old but sooo wonderful), Ai no Kusabi, Kiss me Teacher and

But I think those are all quite popular.
My favourite pairing are the main pairings that belong to these series. But
considering fanfics I must add YohjixAya (Weiss Kreuz) and IrvinexSquall (FF),
too. *drools*
about those statistic: I think most fans are girls. I only know a few guys who
like shonen-ai/yaoi. And they actually tend towards being bi or homosexual in
real life, too... as for me I'd say I'm hetero ^^ but as a proverb here in
Germany says: never say never. There are people who discovered that they are
homosexual or at least bi when they were 40 or older... so...
Hi my name is Kiyomi1819 and I'm 15 yrs. old. I recently have gotten into yaoi.
It's a really romantic love. I really like alot of the yaoi anime/manga series

and i'd be surprised if you knew all the ones i mentioned. if you frequent a
couple of the scanalation groups that are mentioned above then chances are
you've probably read one of something from one mangakas i listed. i've read lots
of series and oneshots, but i can't for the life of me name more than 5 artists

well, when you are looking for more yaoi you should probably read Kizuna
(although I don't know if you'll be able to buy it - here in my country it's

Yeah. I just recently purchased yellow volume 4. LOVED IT!
I've only downloaded Princess Princess up until episode 3, I think. I havent
seen the two newest ones yet. I think your right, it does seem like kinda shoujo
more than anything else . . .
That would be awesome though if it did turn into somethin more though.
I dont think I've seen Angels Feather. o-o
Is it up for download at aarin?

'bout princess2, its up to eps 5 now in aarin ^^ looks like shounen-ai at first,
but I think the genre is shoujo. i'm sure it will be yaoi later regarding the
mangaka Tsuda Mikiyo, who's actually another name of Taishi Zaou --> her
y-mangas are quite graphic...if she intend to make it that way ;P. well, I only
read it up to ch 2, scanlated by peccatore sanctuary & dragon
voice.
...and I can't wait when they released sub for Angels Feather anyone
watch it? the first eps was aired last april 28 or 29 if i'm not
mistaken.
I love yellow too, especially the last book vol 4, that i only have raw scans on
it dunno when dmp will release the english version here also
2 more titles i want to own the english version: challenger and the tyrant who
fall in love by hinako takanaga...the later currently licensed by

Lately, I've been reading Yellow, Boy Princess and lots of not!yaoi. Go figure.
But there does seem to be more of it showing up where I work. It's a good thing.
This was just a quickie to let everyone know that I haven't died, just been
quiet and watched.
School stinks!
You mentioned the new anime from aarinfantasy of Princess Princess . . . I just
finished watching both of the new eppys. It seems like a shounen-ai, not yaoi.
In the first two episodes there's not really any indications that I see but in
the ending song you see some images that make ya think otherwise. I'm hoping
their relationship progresses as more episodes are up for download.
