I haven't gotten above Lvl 26 yet, always seems just as I get there I lose a bunch of games, I went back down to Lvl 22 but am back to Lvl 25 currently. I just don't see how you can be on one game, off the next, on the next and off again. I believe myself to be a good player, and I just don't see how this is possible unless it's cheating of some sort.

Oh it seems your not really bright oh well ill explain. halo 2 live is not hosted by bungie or xbox live. so there is a host which is usually first. his internet is used so u can play. if his internet iz slow u shoot slower. but it doessnt effect his speed.that is why you can lag out of games. it chooses host how or by what requirements i do not know but if the screen turns blueand re-establishs connection it means host quit and is choosing a new one. that is why in custom games party leader have advantages.

well add me so i can play with you my gt xX beezurk Xx :) XD

Yes thank you for telling me something I already knew, I appreciate the refresher. I will also have you know a slow internet for the host not only effects the rest of the players but the host as well. I've been in that situation.

Did you know according to Bungie that if you see that blue screen more than once or twice in a game, you are probably getting Stand-By'd. I still stand by my original comment, but who knows it could be someone cheating as they are rampant on Halo 2.

Too many cheaters on Halo 2 now, too much to the point I no longer enjoy playing the game.

My GT is fluke3180 if anyone care's just message me you are from MT and I'll add you, otherwise I'll probably decline.

yeah so much cheaters once you get to lvl 35 1/4 of your games are nothing but cheaters. im only level 30 snipers already experiencing a lot cheaters

host has the advantage, ever notice you might stick someone and then they walk away like nothing happened? Or you see them flinch from your sniper shot that hit them as you got headshotted? Latency sometimes craps up shots that should otherwise kill. One reason why hosts have big numbers, and why the shotgun is a turd of a weapon if you're not on host. Regardless though, the most important thing is forming a consistent team to play with, there's good hosts and then there's ones who couldn't kill someone standing still.

Add DVILLE WEEZY if you're up for some H2. Just let me know you're off MT and I'll add.

On another subject, just got done playing Halo 2 again. It becomes quite frustrating going from big wins to big losses all the time. I want to ask everyone, is it me...or does it seem that the person in first place is harder to kill? I wonder if there is a hidden bonus of being first place during the game...something like a hidden overshield. I ask this, because I start a game and if I get the lead I go on a rampage killing several people seems like I'm invincible. Eventually I will get killed and someone will take the lead, and then that new leader will seem incredibly hard to kill. Has anyone else ever noticed a situation like this?

halo groups are an instant win. Do you guys play as a group or anything?

yeah, i doubt theres anything like that bungie hasnt talked about. when you are the leader, you're just kind of on a roll, not to mention having your choice of weapon from everyone you've killed.

Thinking that the person in the lead is all in your head. Playing games is half mind-game in all sense, you got to have the state of mind of winning in order to be a winner. Once you get in the zone almost nothing should be able to stop you, that is what usually happens to the person in the lead, they gain the confidence and their mind are in the zone.

Today is the 1st anniversary of me joining this group! Drinks all around.
As for the person being harder to kill. I dont play on live, but during LANs, the person reigning over the game is generally harder to kill, mainly cause theyve built up so much confidence. If you meet them with the same amount of confidence (and then some) they shouldnt be too hard to kill. nless they are just generally better an you, then your in for a bit of trouble.
Cheers

Well the group has been pretty inactive as of late. If anyone has any ideas or anything to help the group out feel free to speak freely.

Just stopping by to say hi, and see if I can join!

well, bungie said it was running on the 360, not prerendered, and that was a location in the game. they also said the background was all 3D geometry, as in, you could go there. based on the detail in 360 games coming out now, i'd say that was gameplay. if you check out the screenshots at bingie.net, you can see that the graphics aren't perfect, also indicating in-game visuals.

I wasn't too impressed with the trailer, unless that was a sceen in the actually game, then I am much more impressed. Also like already stated, it comes out I beleive late 2007 so we still have plenty of time for improvements.

well, in a halo 2 video the br was firing single shots, so it could change anytime i guess.

i downloaded that clip not too long ago, and it looks kinda cool. Can anyone confirm the original AR that the MC is holding in his hands? However, it didnt show anything that mades it any different from Halo2... But 2007 is still a long while away, so only time will tell jsut how good it is
Cheers

as no one has bothered to post it yet,
HALO 3 WAS FINALLY ANNOUNCED YESTERDAY AT E3. DOWNLOAD THE TRIALER AT BUNGIE.NET. DO IT. DO IT NOW.

and thanks for the help on cairo station. almost done with ffx, i should be getting back to halo soon.

Quote by PhoenixNoxive been trying to beat cairo station for ages.

im stuck at the second place where the covenant enter through the tubes, and these are the weapons available: 3 frags, 4-6 plasma grenades, almost 2 full battle rifles, a mag with about 20 shots, two half full plasma rifles and a full plasma pistol, an smg and the odd frag/smg ammo i can get from dying marines.

so far the strategies ive tried: go nuts with grenades- didn't really expect it to work
use mainly the br- they always go behind cover when their sheilds go down. eventually i just run out of ammo.
get in a plasma turret- nfw
playing at my cousins house, using a sword from the previous area- moderately successful, but too unreliable. often assasinated while killing on elite, simply beaten to death because a lunge cant kill the red elites, or killed from a short distance by multiple plasma rifle fire.

my rwo most successful strategies have been: br the grunts, then nade and lasma pistol/br the elites. problem is, once the dual weilding elites show up, they kill me too fast. also, to effectively use it, you have to be close, and the box near the tube isn't sufficient if the elites spread out.
or
try my best to use grenades effectively, supplemented by the br from a distance. problem- ammo. i only have less than ten grenades, and there are at least four waves, with about 4-5 elites each. thats several elites per nade, and at lest some of them make it behind cover and stay there until their sheilds recharge.

so, if anyone for some reason has the patience to read that, help would be appreciated.

(and btw, im not just terrible. i did beat outskirts through regret without much trouble. just for reference of my skill level)

oh yeah, and this is legendary of course. just so no one calls me a retard.

You have the right idea with using BR and plasma pistol, that is the best thing you can do for this level. It is all about cover and killing eneimes one at a time. Find a decent spot of cover to hid in. Proceed with eliminating the grunts first, just BR each in the head and if they get close than melee with BR or pistol, also if the grunts are in groups than grenade then, try using frags for grunts and save plasma for elites. When the grunts are dealt with and there are only elites than this is where it gets harder. Try to get in a position backwards where you can a decent look at the first elite and proceed to plasma pistol and BR combo him. If they start to get closer, don't hesitate to still use your plasma pistol, hit them with the charged shot and proceed to melee them. The elites get stunned for the charged shot and the melee attacks so as long as you are not being attacked by others, than the elite should be all yours. If you are inh a poistion as well where none of the elites see you, that is the perfect time to use plasma grenade, try to hit the elite with the best angle on him and if you can try to get an elite that is near some other elites and such so the shock of the grenade and take off parts of the sheilds of other elites so you can BR them. Whatever you do try not to charge them, that is the worst idea and you will always die from doing such a n00b thing. Keep this pace up and you should be it, it takes time but this is the most efficent way off beating the level. Don't worry aboyt ammo too much, just keep grabing the best plasma pistol from the grunts and there should be enough BR ammo for you to last from marine corspes and such as long as you have decent aim.
I hope I helped you out and anyone else having trouble on this level by writing this very long post. If anyone else is having trouble on other levels I would be happy to help, maybe, J/K I will help.

My favoriter kind of match is rumble pit for a few reasons.
1. I don't have to depend on anyone else to do well, it is just me.
2. Less of a chance I will get double teamed during the match.
3. I always seem to do better by myself against serveral opponents.

Also about beating the levels on legend, I have beaten them all already on legendary so if you need pointers on some of the levels, I wont mind helping.

1) I love free for alls. I rock at all snipers matches, but those are gay. Free for all slayers are the best!
2) Cairo Station is very hard on legendary, if you need any assistence, I can help! I've beaten it on Legendary! Using the sledgehammer from the plasma pistol is very important! Ah! And grenades, especially grenades!

my favorite playlists are team slayer, 6v6, and rumble pit in that order. i like the samller games as opposed to big team, and slayer is my favorite game type, but i like to play some assault and ctf in 6v6 too. and sometimes its just good to not be on a team and just be able to shoot anything that moves.
i'm a pretty bad sniper, but i'll play a game of team snipers once in awhile just for the hell of it.

*For Online Players Only* (Sorry, offline players! -_-')

What is your favorite kind of match?
Like do you like going murdering the other team in Team Slayer...or do you like accomplishing goals under the enemies' gunfire....like Capture the Flag or Assault....or do you wanna have a huge battle against the other team and try your best to win...like 6 on 6 or Big Team Battle? There are other types of games too, but I don't wanna mention all of 'em...so, which one do you like to do the most or you enjoy doing in Halo 2 online?

Quote by PhoenixNoxhey everybody, i just beat the arbiter, delta halo and regret on legendary (still stuck in cairo station) which means ive now beaten levels 2-6.
