The anime hasn't left MUCH out of the manga... the biggest differences lie in
episodes 8+10 so far where they squish 2 chapters together... and 3+4 are
switched in order form the manga... Episode 11 is out of order, but it's
compensation for stuff that they left out in episode 8.
Otherwise, it's pretty close to the manga ^_^ Different enough as to not be
boring to someone that doesn't want to just watch something that they've read,
and similar enough as to not upset die-hard fans of the manga. So I think it
accomplishes a nice balance ^_^
can i please join this group! i'm up to episode 10 of the anime and it's sooo
good! my sister and i tried to match up all the character with a fruits basket
counterpart... teehee!
honey= momiji
mori= hatori
tamaki= ayame
kyouya= shigure
twins= kyo and yuki (or both sides of haru...)

I'm just finished watching episode 3 and the first time I've seen this anime,
I've already like it very much!
Especially, all the bishonen characters like Tama-chan (Tamaki) and Mori. They
are all my fav++!
I get to know bout this anime through a local newspaper column which is just for
the anime and manga section. I'm totally a bishonen fan! and not to mention, the
other members of the Host Club are so hilarious too!

(Another addict!) ^_^ Episode 10 combines another 2 chapters of manga (Episode 8
also combined 2 chapters.) The scene in the Episode 10 preview is actually the
end of volume 3 and the end of chapter one of the story, so of course they're
combining both chapters.

I've been a fan from OHSHC since I read the manga a year ago. And I was so happy to see it made in an anime.
