Yay! Arigato mina for your great welcome at the Doujinshi Club!
So, let me tell ya some more thing about me:
I occupy with doujinshi, but I need a lot of improvenmet. I have drawn lots of
original character (I don't make fanart anymore) and I have lots of ideas for
more characters of mine. Till year I was drawing a lot, but then at May the
exams started, so I didn't have much time. Then, I had a problem with my hands
the whole summer, so I couldn't practise. Damn! When my hands get better on
autumn, I lost my mood for drawing because of the awful summer experience and I
was just watching anime (yeah, this autumn I started taking lots of anime, while
I hadn't any before). I sit to draw some times, but not something special. And I
was always telling to myself "Damn you, George! Stop sitting and start
occupying with drawing more seriously!"
Now I found a great reason to start drawing again. And this is the existence of
the Doujinshi Club. Before that, I was always visiting deviantART (and I still
visit it) in order to find wondeful doujinshi (I'm going to make a thread with
the links of these artists from the deviantART I admire). My first doujinshi
will be definitely a kittygirl (I'm a kittygirl great fan, after all).
ok guys, still new to the system here, so couldnt work out how to do a thread
for this.
just putting in my entry for the draw doujinshi MT character class's comp.

Ayamael-friend had this suggestion about a separate section for doujin,
right? Not much support there... but according to these threads ( http://forum.minitokyo.net/showthread/15649/
and ), there might be a
possibility that such special sections would be implemented. If this
technical endeavor pushes thru, it would be an important step for
getting recognition, wall-side and doujin-side. (3)
you, know, Char the litteral translation of that in Japanese is also
provoking... besides, shouldn't you ask Keough, he's Japanese after all lolll
anyways, litterally it would be : doujinshi no hankou (but i'm really not sure
about this one, the word revolt is kind of confusing...)
i'd suggest maybe "revolution of doujinshi" : doujinshi no kakumei...
or "doujinshi riot" : doujinshi no boudou... or if you could choose
a more precise word than "revolt" ^^

(2) Contest Deadlines -- tentative,

(4) 'Doujinshi-Signature Barrage Campaign for
the whole month of March' -- I still have to get back to Yune of the
MT-Sig-AV-Team group on this, but she committed on making a special sig out of
the initial artwork of vampyre, Keough, Crash-kun and walkure245. She's kinda
overworked lately, so she'd probably just make one sig out of it. Thanks so much
to her!
Which leads me to a proposal: I propose that, in order to further advance the
visibility of promoting doujinshi in MT, a 'signature barrage for the whole month of March' must be
implemented. I propose that we convince each other or ask other supporters or
friends to 'wear' or set this special doujinshi-support sig on our sig lines for
the whole month of March. March, not only being the 1st Year Anniv of MT, but
also the month of the contest. For a little variety, people can put a link on
the sig to special doujinshi that we like on MT. ^_^
OK! News flash end. Byes... Support what? You know what!
Quote by walkure245I really like the
idea Evanrued! ^.^
The banner really gives the feeling that we stick together and together we do
exist. I also liked the signed signatures idea too. It feels we are committing
ourselves.
I was thinking maybe we can rotate the banner once a month maybe. Every week
seems kind of fast unless there are banners available. Then we can do it
weekly.
Okay . . . I don't know if this is helpful.
Anyways, evanrued, great banner idea! I can't wait to see more.
^.^
Thanks Wakure, it really helps
And Charaz did have an idea, forgot what it was though. But I agree that if we
dont get enough banners, every week does seem a bit soon for each switch. Maybe
if some other doujin artists go together and did a banner idea, those could
work, and then maybe the weekly idea would work indeed. Or we could have a
different number of banners for one week. like three banners a week. And we
could have a vote for which one stayed up for the upcoming week. Then during
that time others could submit their banner ideas for the next upcoming week. So
we could basically have a "Vote Week" And A " Winner Week".
Dont know its just an idea.
Keougs's idea on the signature, was good. But I still wonder how we would
acquire all those sigs ^_^*
i am working on other ideas, but at the same time sewing a trash bag dress with
paper plate cut scales on it that due next week. So I'm pretty busy..

very rampant supporter of doujin.Char asked me to give my views on what I think
about how under appreicate doujinshi is on MT,and probably a other places, and I
told her I would when I got chance.Anyway, here it goes:
Dounjinshi is away for artist to express their artist skills and love of other
people's work by creating different versions of beloeved chartcetsr or making
their own creations. There are many artist here that partcipate in that. Many
excel at doujinshi greatly, masterfully creating such works that could very
become the next big anime or manga and make them high valued arists, while
others aspiring to improve their skills for the best while coming out with work
with modest potential of excellence in them.Unfortunately, most of that talent
and recognition goes unnoticed, especially here on MT.There are so many artists
here that partake in two distint branches-doujinshi, and wallpapers- and bopth
are broken down into subcatgergies. Most members here are good at walls, some are
good at drawing and the such,a dn others are skilled at both.Yet, it is
wallpaers that usually get the attention, mostly on part of the
graphics, time, detail, and scans used in the creation process that draw people to
them in droves. The same could be said for doujinshi,if more people took
admiration into the work itself.
Doujinshi, epescially here, usually goes underappreciate from aray of things. For
one,if someone's drawing isn't of moderate decore(i.e looks kind of bad or could
be better) most don't comment on it.It is the same on the opposite end of the
spectrum: if a drawing is masterfully done, few people comment on it for certain
reasons, such it dosen't possess the flare and colour of a wallpaper or out of
jealousy, seeing how the the drawing is flawless or a brillant piece of work and
looks way better than something they could do.These reasons are the things that
forsake doujinshi itself and makes it go utterly unseen.
There are some people take in the consideration of doujinshi, such a myself and
many others, and appreciate the work, detail, effort that goes into many of the
these works. Looking at the drawing and getting a feel of it can allow some deep
insight to the views on what was done right, what needs and improvement, and
merely saying how much love it.,even if the artist darws much beter than them (
and there are plent who do a better job than me, heehee ^_^ ' ) This type of
praise and interest helps give rise to motivate to keep doing their work,
perfecting on so many aspects, and evntually achieve a dream of sucess from it
,leading to getting the recoginiton they so deserve.
I believe this group will become a shining beacon to help give the doujinshi
artists and others the confience they need and the appreciation they deserve, and
also breaking the stigmas that go along with their work.,thus getting more
people to reveal in this vein of art along with many other forms.Thank you all
for your time .Now go forth and support doujinshi!!!!
Good point you have there.... yah know, I've seen a lot of artists here in MT
who has the potential to make such a thing.... but as you said, it is utterly

woah, that's a loong post GintheTwilightswords...(by the way, pleased to meet

problem... and because of that lack of attention/mention from MT's member, the
doujinshis lose visibility... after all, i've never seen one single doujin in
the highlight section (now i know there have been some, but they are especially
rare compared to walls...) and if they would appear in that highlight section
more often, maybe more people would realize that doujin are here on MT and
should be praised as well as wall... (or maybe i'm too optimistic??)... as i
