hihi! i'd love to join this club as i love drawing my own characters, spinning tales and weaving stories in my mind with my own characters. when i draw, i draw with all my heart. whenever i feel an emotion, i would let it out on my drawings. i also enjoy seeing other people's arts and i would love to learn and improve my drawing skills. i would also gladly share tips and advice on drawing with everyone. ^^ drawing is my first love and it will be my last. ja ne!

i have an idea...how about we have a "doujinshi artist of the week" kinda thing...i dont know how but i think itll draw attention to artists out there who are not usually seen.

Hey Guys Good News!!!! la~ta~ta~taaaa!!!! Excuse my grammar okay? I'm not so good in english. So here goes first... ahem!!!

attention: For doujinshi artists who wants to improve their artworks better, without using Photoshop!!! (especially like me, hehehe, I only draw on paper!!!) I discovered somethign recently, If you draw by pencil, and want to make your artwork better, you can improve it by using only two available programs on your pc!!!! Photoshop saver neh??? well here it goes..... By using Microsoft Word, you can Insert the Image, and then change the brightness & the contrast of your image, in whichever style you choose. After being satisfied with the adjustments, you can clean up your work by copying the image, opening up the Paint program, and then arrange whatever there is to be adjusted more, and then save it as type Jpeg. Cool neh? Try it!!! Any questions regarding this, will be accepted, just post on my GB ok?? Ja~ne!!!

please help me on ideas for a wall or an art =o (djs of course) xD
Pose or anything accepted =) comment back on my GB
Thanks =)

^^ It seem ur idea is the talk of the club. OX yea i figure at most the same too. Havent really gotten much ideas for a new banner either T_T.

:\ I havent noticed..?

Welcome to the Doujinshi Support Club, JosieStrange. I have changed your status. :)

Yay! Arigato mina for your great welcome at the Doujinshi Club!

So, let me tell ya some more thing about me:
I occupy with doujinshi, but I need a lot of improvenmet. I have drawn lots of original character (I don't make fanart anymore) and I have lots of ideas for more characters of mine. Till year I was drawing a lot, but then at May the exams started, so I didn't have much time. Then, I had a problem with my hands the whole summer, so I couldn't practise. Damn! When my hands get better on autumn, I lost my mood for drawing because of the awful summer experience and I was just watching anime (yeah, this autumn I started taking lots of anime, while I hadn't any before). I sit to draw some times, but not something special. And I was always telling to myself "Damn you, George! Stop sitting and start occupying with drawing more seriously!"

Now I found a great reason to start drawing again. And this is the existence of the Doujinshi Club. Before that, I was always visiting deviantART (and I still visit it) in order to find wondeful doujinshi (I'm going to make a thread with the links of these artists from the deviantART I admire). My first doujinshi will be definitely a kittygirl (I'm a kittygirl great fan, after all).

Well...that's all for now. Ja ne!

Nice to see some new members coming in and I love the drawing runic :) .

ok guys, still new to the system here, so couldnt work out how to do a thread for this.
just putting in my entry for the draw doujinshi MT character class's comp.

i chose to draw the MT artist member class. and coloured it. Check it out

Quote by charaznableamuroreiAhaha, sorry, minna... seems like 100 million years since I was here...
thanks to all who've recently signed up for the Doujinshi Revolt (err,
Ayamael, can ya translate this into Nihongo so that it'd sound a little
less... provoking?),

(2)Special, Separated Highlighted Sections for
Overlooked-but-Outstanding Doujinshi and Wallpapers? Are the Rumors
True?
Ayamael-friend had this suggestion about a separate section for doujin,
right? Not much support there... but according to these threads (
http://forum.minitokyo.net/showthread/15649/ and ), there might be a
possibility that such special sections would be implemented. If this
technical endeavor pushes thru, it would be an important step for
getting recognition, wall-side and doujin-side. (3)

you, know, Char the litteral translation of that in Japanese is also provoking... besides, shouldn't you ask Keough, he's Japanese after all lolll anyways, litterally it would be : doujinshi no hankou (but i'm really not sure about this one, the word revolt is kind of confusing...)
i'd suggest maybe "revolution of doujinshi" : doujinshi no kakumei... or "doujinshi riot" : doujinshi no boudou... or if you could choose a more precise word than "revolt" ^^

ok, you sure ask tough questions ^^

and it's cool about point 2... you're right i had that idea, but it wasn't exactly popular... the thread here : http://forum.minitokyo.net/showthread/13563/

Ahaha, sorry, minna... seems like 100 million years since I was here... thanks to all who've recently signed up for the Doujinshi Revolt (err, Ayamael, can ya translate this into Nihongo so that it'd sound a little less... provoking?), and to those who have been keeping up the group spirits, and to those working on the group banner/s, and to those who are working hard on the Doujin Contest, and to those who are frying a lot of brain powa for the MT Manga idea, and to those working hard on campaigning, and to those having trouble drawing and seeking advice... I love you all! Let me leech passion from you!

ok! News from the various nooks and corners and MT! News flash! News flash!

(1) Prizes for the Contest -- Sorry, minna, but please don't expect anything fancy. I have been trying real hard to secure pretty goodies, but it's still not confirmed.

but! Nuriko promised a "super-special secret surprise" for her personal favorite doujinshi contest submission. I repeat! "Super-Special Secret Surprise!" 4Ss.

For the CG-coloring part, await yet another *special, secret* surprise prize for you there... Hint, hint??? The letters "G, W, O, M, T"... helpful, ne? But it's really going to be very special. ^_^

(2) Contest Deadlines -- tentative, March 29! Please read the thread for important changes. Ehehe, sorry for the loopholes... blame my work and campaign work for doujinshi, please.

(4) 'Doujinshi-Signature Barrage Campaign for the whole month of March' -- I still have to get back to Yune of the MT-Sig-AV-Team group on this, but she committed on making a special sig out of the initial artwork of vampyre, Keough, Crash-kun and walkure245. She's kinda overworked lately, so she'd probably just make one sig out of it. Thanks so much to her!

Which leads me to a proposal: I propose that, in order to further advance the visibility of promoting doujinshi in MT, a 'signature barrage for the whole month of March' must be implemented. I propose that we convince each other or ask other supporters or friends to 'wear' or set this special doujinshi-support sig on our sig lines for the whole month of March. March, not only being the 1st Year Anniv of MT, but also the month of the contest. For a little variety, people can put a link on the sig to special doujinshi that we like on MT. ^_^

OK! News flash end. Byes... Support what? You know what!

Quote by walkure245I really like the idea Evanrued! ^.^
The banner really gives the feeling that we stick together and together we do exist. I also liked the signed signatures idea too. It feels we are committing ourselves.
I was thinking maybe we can rotate the banner once a month maybe. Every week seems kind of fast unless there are banners available. Then we can do it weekly.
Okay . . . I don't know if this is helpful. ^_^' Anyways, evanrued, great banner idea! I can't wait to see more. ^.^

Thanks Wakure, it really helps -_-
And Charaz did have an idea, forgot what it was though. But I agree that if we dont get enough banners, every week does seem a bit soon for each switch. Maybe if some other doujin artists go together and did a banner idea, those could work, and then maybe the weekly idea would work indeed. Or we could have a different number of banners for one week. like three banners a week. And we could have a vote for which one stayed up for the upcoming week. Then during that time others could submit their banner ideas for the next upcoming week. So we could basically have a "Vote Week" And A " Winner Week". Dont know its just an idea.

Keougs's idea on the signature, was good. But I still wonder how we would acquire all those sigs ^_^*

i am working on other ideas, but at the same time sewing a trash bag dress with paper plate cut scales on it that due next week. So I'm pretty busy..

That's why I said we can give the name "United We Stand" to the banner.

I really like the idea Evanrued! ^.^

Quote by AyameSeishiro...seeing as you love doujinshi so much, Why don't you join our group? Your support will be a big help to us. ^_^ I'd be really glad if you joined in.

Well, I thought it over, and it seemed like a good idea. So what do you all think: may I join? I can't draw at all (completely devoid of that talent), but I love seeing other people's creations/drawings, especially if it's their own ideas showing on paper...anyway, it's up to you now; I'll check back later.

Ei guys, what about posting out a thread for inviting other supporters to join our club? what do you think? There are a lot of supporters out there who haven't heard of this club yet... Let's get populated? Shall we?
