After months on an artistic hiatis I finally created another wall this week -
instead on cramming for a tutorial exam like I should have been - oh well fail
with dignity. But way off the topic here. A deliberately (deceptively) simple
wall BG from the new hack series .Hack/Roots. It looks like something somebody
else did, so i'm quite proud of it.
I'm sure you people would love to offer helpful advice on the points I've gotten
rusty on (or never had) if I could just upload it to the forum. *sniff* I can't
even attach it to an e-mail message, stupid pathetic home internet connection.
This is the first time in 3 weeks I've been able to load MT, and check my
notifications. But enough whining, while I can move around MT with only
intermitant error messages it time for scan hunting.
Yeah. I think Regen's idea is cool. To make a cute, happy mascot design for UA
maybe? I love this idea since I don't really do a lot of happy and cute
designings so this would definitely be very challenging. *and cuddly, too* It
bring happiness and love <3 lols
Actually I would be extremely busy for the next few months, I doubt I'd have the
time to even sneak to online.. but oh well... we all know exam tortures anyway..
Hmm... an idea for a new contest? I am reading about competitions so often and I
guess the UA competition doesn't really trigger a wave of motivation anymore. I
have started a wallpaper for the "no limit" theme. But I have also
started one for the "trendwhore" and I haven't completed it so far. So
Misa's suggestion to find out what we actually want to do is a good start! I
really enjoyed the "weird" (lol... I mean it in a good way) tasks of
Misa's TREC. When I take part in a competition I think it's fun to get tasks
like this... and not just a sentence. But I must admit that it may also make it
more difficult. I remember the task on that DDR game was quite hard to me... but
it made everything more interesting and more fun.
Also we should think of... do we enjoy making wallpapers on our own or would a
competition where you can also work in small groups or maybe only together with
one person more motivating, fun, etc. As for myself I'd like work together but I
also know that it's sometimes difficult... that was one of my TREC experiences
too.
Evo wrote about something happy... Ephie about cute anime icons and Mokona...
*lol* Maybe we should start a competition on a cute happy mascot design... We
did something like this at university in a small group of 6 people. But it was
actually more difficult than it sounds.
Well I hope we can discuss this some more. ^^ It's good to see some life in the

they generally don't make good use of the medium. I know this isn't NWP, but I'd
like to see something a little less blatantly overhyped as the actual topic.

As far as a second Battle Royale or artgeek's Olympiad thing goes, I'm probably
going to give NWP a kick in the pants when I get back to college (Tuesday or
Wednesday). I didn't want to have to do this, but I'm going to make an
announcement. That'll at least get people's attentions.
I've been wanting to start up something new and fresh... there are plenty of
themes we haven't done or explored yet. But I guess it seems most members have
lack of time. Just taking myself as an example is pretty bad. I didn't even go
home on Thursday night. I stayed up all night making some stupid model and not
only that the night before I climbed over a fence with 3 other well,
"friends" if you wish, and they didn't even bother to catch me! My
knee swelled up pretty bad and I'm thankful I'm alive.
Anyway, the point is we should have some sort of competition thing. I've been
looking forward to artgeek12's Olympiad (though I'm not really sure where it's
headed right now) or even a possibly Battle Royale II is something I'd really
like to see. Or even just another UA them would be nice.
Perhaps we can discuss which kind of competition we'd like to see happen? Or
even, if we want another UA theme, maybe we can discuss what themes we'd like to
see. We should make it something intense

amazing, everytime i manage to log on, something always seems to happen. with
the return of a lot of UAers and misa becoming a mod [congrats on that ^^]; this
little piggy went "wee wee wee" all the way home. i have no
clue where that came from, i swear.
maybe i need sleep? ._. sigh, but yes, keep it up guys, and at this pace we may

Any way, i started a new job recently, and that is mainly the reason for my
abscence now, well that and a desire for sleep. i can't go to sleep at 4am and

division. I know Terra signed up for Collabs but that ended up... not happening.

because it's at a smaller scale.

Sure fire method of curing a cold -sleep-. Gather up your text books (the
thicker the better) and put them on your head and just the weight of them will
render you unconscious. If you get more sleep you'll get better faster, also
some people believe in sleep learning- with that many text books on you you'll
have to learn something right - a most efficient use of your time, yes?
W.A.R's on again? Wow that was fast. Must go and check out the enteries. Who's
in it from UA? If the talented entrants from this group live up to UA's awesome
reputation in competitions (*cough* see last W.A.R's trophy) then some
exceptional art is sure to be introduced to MT. About time too, everything gone
