Hehe...I'm not gonna lie. *whispers* I really like the new banner. ^_^
And thanks for the "good luck" send off, GearStalker05. And thanks to
sailorchiron for the nod to my never-done-but-only-in-my-mind artwork. ^_^;
Mayhaps I'll get around to a wallpaper or something...maybe...hehe.
My Internet will still be sporadic for about another month. I'm living out of a
suitcase (argh) so yes, moving is quite the
pain in the a$$ but the new place should be worth it.
Oh! And welcome aboard, sailorchiron as an admin of Oldsters! ^_^

has anyone else submitted art for the banner/avi
contest?
We officially have one entry posted for everyone to see! (See above
announcement.) And
the entry would be yours sailorchiron.
I was all gung-ho to try my hand at making a banner - using the grandparents
from Kekkaishi as my inspiration - but life got in the way and I've completely
run out of time. I'm in the process of moving, so I won't be able to submit
anything like I originally planned. Fireflywishes was right, I needed a
deadline. I'm a horrible procrastinator! Yours would have blown mine out of the water anyway, so it's just as well.
lol.
OOooOOoOo, moving is a pain...
I'm sure your banner would have rocked, and competition is always welcome, it
forces us to try harder!

got a B.A. in Communications, and now I get to have the glorious job hunt
search. Ick. Hopefully it won't take me too long. I've got resumes out and
hopefully somebody will call me and hire me. For
the love of God - hire me!

I've got a B.A. in Liberal Studies (no, it is not the study of how to be a
Liberal ), which is the degree most people get if they want to go into
teaching at the elementary level. Right now I'm working at a school supply
store, while I work on getting my credential...

I'm with Spystreak on waiting until summer for a banner competition. Perfect
example: me = should be doing paper, but I'm here procrastinating. hehe.
Maybe we could start topics about what was popular when we were kids and
reminisce about the "good ol' days." Some possible topics: fashion
trends, car styles, 80's cartoon shows, etc. Those are all I can think of for
now. But that might be a good place to start.
Does anyone have any ideas on how we can resurrect this group? The only thing I
can think of would be a banner/avatar competition (since we are currently
lacking both), but I wonder how many people would actually participate?
I'm all for the energy building. That and this is the only group left that I was
a member of that has yet (is not) purged. Woot for the "old folks." We take a lickin' and keep on tickin'
lol.

Did you guys see the warning that inactive groups would be deleted? Let's get
some energy going!
Well I got you. I'm 36. And you you may be right about the groups inactivity. I
guess it has been a while since I've posted anything here. This is a great group
though. I feel at home here.

a Aspirant Member? That's what I'm listed
as.
I've also got an answer: Be confident in your own right. Be sure of yourself
first, then impress others with that confidence second. That's a great
foundation to build, and what's best is that you'll always be sure of
yourself!
An aspirant member is a member that is waiting for a moderator or admin of a
group to add them into the group

For anyone who still visits this page (or is interested) there is now a Facebook
group for MT-ers! Just do
a search for "minitokyo" and you should find us! (Unfortunately you

My suitemates are okay. Although sometimes they can be pretty loud at times.
Classes are alright. Most of my professors are cool.
Although penal law my professor reminds me of a female version of Mr. Bean.
Which creeps me out alot.
Thank you for all the warm wishes! I actually have a group page layout in mind!

If there is going to be a contest probably should actually wait till the summer or something since for alot of people finals are coming up.
I don't really know how to revive a group like this other then bringing up randomg topics and hoping someone says something
