Im such a nerd... I bought the regular edition when it came out, and now the
special edition. Its so cool! I didnt realize that they would make the case the
book that I had heard about. Yay! Lame thing is that the movie disc is exactly
the same as the regular edition... but you still get that second disc!
As for the games, I know Dual Sympathy is due out in December. I assumed they
would rerelease the other games, but I hadn't heard anything about it
yet.
So far, the Art Of FullMetal Alchemist for the manga and the anime has been
released. As well as FMA Profiles for the manga and the anime version is comming
soon.
Oo I hadn't heard that the art books were being translated. Awesome! ^_^ I'll
have to make sure to grab those.
I'm going to pick up the special edition of the movie tomorrow. I've waited on
buying any version of it so I could get this one. Who knows if the special
features are worth it but we'll see. ^^;
Has anyone heard any news of those new FMA Playstation games being made by
Destineer? I've been looking but cant find anything other than they are supposed
to make them sometime in the coming year(s).
The special edition of the movie is supposed to hit North American stores today.
I believe it's a two disc edition with character post cards and some other
special features. Plus alot of the art books are being trasnlated now. The Art
of Fullmetal Alchemist: The Anime was just recently released, and Fullmetal
Alchemist: Profiles for the anime should be comming soon too. Volume 10 of the
manga is either out now or will be soon. Dual Sympathy for the Nintendo DS is
also being translated and is set to release in North America shortly. Who doesnt
want to try their hand at 'Whack a Homunculus'?
The silence is deafening! I agree it seems to be near dead here. Where did
everyone go? I've been waiting for some more activity and nothing has happened.
Anyone? We need some sort of topic, news, anything. Any Ideas?
When you own the DVDs, its alot easier. You dont have to wait forever for your
favorite eppisode, and no commercials either. Plus the DVDs usually have cool
extras included, like actor commentary.

Did everyone fall off of the planet or what? Seriously, its really slowed down
here.
I the Discover magazine that I just got, it says in the ninetinth cetury that
Chinese alchemists trying to synthesize an "elixir of immortality"
from saltpeter, sulfer, realgar, and dried honey instead invented gunpowder.
Quote by OdysseusI too think they did a
good job weaving the two together. Though not totally sure on this, I've heard
that there was a myth that a great dragon appeared right after World War I. I
think they might have tried to make Envy that Dragon... maybe. Again not totally
sure. But either way, I liked it alot.
I dont think I've ever heard that, but I dont doubt that Bones did the research
on anything related, even slightly, to the world wars.

Yes, I think they did a good job at tying up loose ends and bringing everything
to a close. I didnt really like Alfons' voice in the dub though. It just sounded
a little off to me. I guess its just one of those things you have to get used to
though, cause I didnt find it so bad near the end. Hughes... I didnt like him
being a Nazi, although I understand why he was for story porposes. And he was
just so cute with Gracia! I think they did a great job with it. And it all makes
sense that they would unite our history with thier fiction. The occult was very
popular at the time, and whats more occult then alchemy?
Has anyone else seen the FMA movie? If so what did you think? I thought it was
really good how they combined the FMA storyline with actual historic events.
I finally watched the Chibi OVA all the way through. OMG! The adorable was over
whelming. I probly watched it 5 times. Roy was so cute as a chibi! And when Al
was pretending to be ... other Al. Just so cute!
Ohhhh right I completely forgot about the Carnival of Dreams one :/ That one
looked interesting, but I dont know if I would get it seeing as how its just a
fighting game with not much story....
I think I saw the third one for sale on Ebay. It supposed to be a tag team
fighting game. Carnival of Dreams or something like that.... The ad I saw went
into detail about why Armstrong is the 'Strong Arm Alchemist'. It was pretty
funny.
Well I watched all of the movie now I just have to watch the commentaries and
such.
I have 2 of the PS2 games, they havent said anything about localizing the third
one yet and I think I just saw an announcment saying that they are making
the DS game for NA....now I just have to get a DS :/
Quote by WindAlchemistI just
finished the FMA series last night Im so
sad now
I cant believe how awesome that series is. looking back on all the other
episodes you would kind of have a different view on everything now if you
watched it over again.
Im going to be depressed for a few days now that its over since Ive been
collecting it for 2 years straight pretty much
So you finally finished it aye?
Ah, don't be sad, you've got the whole anime with you, so just watch it over
again, and remember the good times. xD
Also, think about the FMA Movie, it's not completely over for ya. Speaking of
which, it already came out on dvd over here. I thought it'd come out later. o_O

I'm tired of waiting for my favorite episode.
I'm going to go buy me some movies!
It's true however, whenever they drank it they died.
