About ren'ai (this is the correct spelling, otherwise you'd be writing a
non-exixtent word ), it
literally means "love" referring to feelings, quite equal to the word
"ai". It can also mean "passion", "emotion",
"affections". It equals "koi suru koto"=to fall in love. I

This is about AKARI who was born in Taisho period. His father is a Britisher
whereas mother is Geisha. Because of his miserable background and gorgoes
looking, he was working in the bawdyhouse as a slave. One day in Cherry blossoms
season, he met Tatsumi, the master owner of Hanabishi House. They fell in love.
Tatsumi decided to adopt and bring him to Hanabishi...

About Angel Sanctuary's end... I bought the first 8 volumes but I *had* to stop
it. Italian edition sucked a lot (editing, translation, format...) so I thought
it wasn't worth spending money on it. Plus, I didn't like the plot. I mean,
Setsuna and Kira-senpai are interesting characters but, hey, that Heaven/Hell
arc was so MESSY! I just stopped reading it cause I felt Kaori Yuki sensei just
didn't know what to say... I prefer easier manga as One Piece I know
that this doesn't actually help you but I felt like I had to say my things Hope
