This is my favorite simple wall of which I have done:

I like it because it's smooth and it has a little colors, It hasn't many things, only a vector without many colors and some brushes and I think that they combine well and in my desktop looks good, my icons neither cover nor disturb it
I like the simple walls 'cause they always looks good on the desktop
