I like the Mai one from that Mai Otome Figure Series Part 2. I would get just
that figure if somebody sells it as a single. I got too many other Hime/Otome
figures to bother collecting the others.
Here are some more upcoming figures that has been advertised for some time
ago.

Time to break the quietness here. The official site has been updated with a new
Mai Otome S.ifr~ section filled with some new images, character pics, etc.
There's even a new logo. Below are a couple of pics I copied off the
site.
Ah, thanks for the link.
Well, I will not buy this book. I have nearly all of the scans on my two
artbooks and the ones missing aren't so much. Not worth spending money for it

Animenewsnetwork.com was updated with some infos about My Otome Sifr.
Like UltraMarine has written some time ago it will be only released on DVD.
It will contain 3 episodes and start at 22th of February 2008.
Here's small but nice pic for the show:

OMG, CM's Homepage has been updated with awesome pics of the upcoming new
Gashapon Series Mai Otome Part 2. These figures are awesome. I love all of them
but the one of Nao the most ^___^
Close to 2 weeks(?) has gone by and I'm still waiting for HobbyLink to get
around to ship it
. (What's taking taking them so long!)
Anyhow, Hobby Search online shop has these scans of a few parts of the book.
Most of the images are illustrations that were first seen in japanese anime
magazines like Megami and Newtype.
Did you get your Mai HiME / Mai Otome Artbook from Hobby Link Japan?
I've seen pics with just some minor character descriptions but no really good
scans.
Is it worth buying?
Out of the group, I like the Mai figure the most. I think the set is due for a
nov 2007 release.

I guess we can forget seeing My Otome Sifr this year. From what I can make out
at Bandai' Japanese produce site, its going to be a 30 minute OVA series on DVD.
Volume 1 due out on Feb 22, 2008.
In the meantime, for those who missed out on the Mai Hime Character/Child
relation profile special that were made by SS a long time ago, you can see it here in Youtube. There's
also one for Mai Otome they done that was explaining the Otomes's relation to
their Gems found here.
And there is going to be a Rena or Lena Sayers figure coming out in Dec along
with Hime Mai and Otome Arika, though Sayers looks more like she's from Cyber
Formula GPX than Mai Otome.
That's definitly the style of Cyber Formula GPX.
The hole figure (is it really one figure?) is inspired by the cover of the Mai
HiME Artbook of Hirokazu Hisayuki.
I think it's worth buying it (may it be a single figure or three of them).
Thanks for the info ^________^
EDIT:
I was just browsing on Hobby Link Japan and found the figures:
Each of them (it's really so that each figure must be buyed to get the hole
bunch) will be released in December and cost around 40 $ (man, this is really
hard)
More infos can be found here:
For a minute there, I thought she was doing a naughty strip tease. But I guess
she's is going to show off her bikini...or not.
If Sunrise follows their pattern of release time of their Mai Hime/Otome series,
I perdict we could be seeing S.lfr~in October or November of this year. I hope
it does focus more Rena Sayers storyline assuming its in the same timeline as
Mai Otome.
And there is going to be a Rena or Lena Sayers figure coming out in Dec along

Official site of Mai Otome (www.my-zhime.net)
has been updated with a nice pic of the upcoming new Series Mai Otome S.ifr
Looks interesting and I hope that it will be shown soon on TV
With Zwei OVA series done, Sunrise continues to promote Mai Hime Destiny. The
official site has updated with some upcoming new merchandise.
Mai Hime/Mai Otome Collection
(Cover art preview?)
From what I can interpret, the book contains art and info of the Mai
Hime/Otome/Zwei/Destiny franchise (anime, manga, novels, video games, more
goods)
Sounds worth buying. 160 pages and around US$21.00. Available late Sept. (I
already preordered at HobbyLink
Japan
Mai Hme Destiny Drama CD
If you have heard the drama portion of the CD that was with Mai Otome Zwei 4,
then we could expect the same cast and story in this full release this coming
October.
The official site also annouced what I think is the Mai Hine Destiny novel that
should contain all the chapters that are currently out in one volume. Also,
there is a manga chapter of MH Destiny out and Mai finally makes an appearance
in the story. I don"t recall seeing her in the novels. Wouldn't it be sad
if a Mai doesn't show up in the new alternative Hime universe?
So perhaps around October, we could be seeing My Otome S.ifl showing up.
And the Mai Hime/Otome franchise continues on and on.
A young Maria seems to indicate a My Otome Prequel. Maybe the story takes place
before the King and Queen of Windbloom meet their end?
And whoa, that torrent of the raw is over 400mbs! *Currently getting it
anyway*
And why the heck is "what-looks-like" a Mai Hime Destiny screencap
(3rd and 4th pics) mixed in with the new series?
As for the bonus CD that comes with the DVD, it has "Do My Best OVA ending
track and its non vocal version follow by some drama tracks that sounds like its
an adaption of the Mai Hime Destiny story. Shizuru fans would love this CD. She
is acting all ultra cool and smooth with her Katana swinging attacks that you
would hear in the drama tracks

I came across this small pic supposely for Mai Otome Sifr that shows Mayo in an
Otome uniform. I'm guessing Sunrise is taking characters from Mai Hime Destiny
and place them in the Mai Otome universe?
Quote by UltraMarineCheza1982 I
recommend checking Hobbyfan.com
every once in awhile. They tend to carry some of those hard to get figures.
Also, I think you were the one that asked about the biker Natsuki that's on page
8 and 9 on that figure book some time ago. HobbyFan has it for pre-order for
around $30 which by the way requires painting. If you don't paint, HobbyFan has
a service that does that for you.
Yahoo Japan auction is another place to look for rare figures. I may had seen
the Nao one there before. You don't have to understand Japanese or live in Japan
to bid stuff from there if you use a third party auction agent such as Japamart to help
you. However, the fees are high depending on where you live if you bid via an
agent. I got a LE Natsuki Kruger figure that way and ended up paying double the
winning bid. She was worth it to me, so I didn't regret it. It was cheaper than
flying to Japan to buy it .
Thanks and sorry for asking the same question again
I finally get a hand on that Natsuki-Biker figure over e2046.com. And I have
found a german model painter who will paint it for me ^^

Mai Otome Zwei OVA 4 is about 1 month away. Here are some thumbnail captures I
did of the OVA's 15 second commercial release.
In the CM, the appearance of that famiiar wingerd bird and whatever Sara
summoned , makes me think there is a return of Hime Childs.

New figures based on Mai Otome Zwei - that bathhouse scene-
They are figures that are scheduled to be available in Japan's Summer Wonderfest
event. In otherwords, not found in stores but most likely would turn up in
auctions after the event is over.
I wouldn't give up hope on those Cosmix figures. They may actually show up one
day.
[b[EDIT 7/29/07
If HobbyLink Japan is wrong about the availiabilty, then these figures may
actually be available in Sept 07. I still see other sites advertising preorders
but marked "sold out".

After Mai Otome Zwei, there may be yet another anime series -Mai Otome 0. No
details I can find that would reveal what is it all about. It seems it was
annouced from a Mai Otome Zwei promo poster. I figure it means a prequel of some
sort. Whatever it is, I'm happy the
franchise would continue on.
In the meantime, I found a couple of cute group images :
I especially like the one on the left. Everybody (Hime/Otome/Zwei/other) all in
one place. Notice the ones with the halos. They came back from the afterlife to
make an appearance.
Thanks for the info, UltraMarine.
To tell the truth I'm very sad that these nice figures won't be avaible
I don't really like the ones of Arika and Akane but I really like that one
showing Shizuru in her Meister-Robe which you posted some time ago.
Also big thanks for the preview of DVD Vol. 4.
Nina looks a bit weird like a mix of her old Robe and Arika's. Seems we need to
wait until August to find out.
Here are some screenshots from the official site. Not much to see but it seems
that we will see at least Maya in action.
If you were ever interested in them, forget you ever saw them. You probably
won't see them available for a long time time or maybe not at all. It seems the
manufactuerer got a little too hasty in annoucing their presence according to
HobbyLink Japan.
Now these are for real and they look pretty good, especially the Akane one.
