the only thing about OC is that it can't import PSD/PSPimage files, so I can't
vector then paint in OC... and need to use Painter/PS elements for
that.
@Dream: not sure about illustrator, but I vector flat colours in PaintshopPro,
then convert to PSD with each vector shape on separate layer (or at least, make
sure no adjacent shapes are on the same layer, lock the layers in Painter, then
paint.
btw, do you know if Painter has a "normal" brush like PS? I don't want
any special effects or anything, just a normal brush. I'd use digital
watercolour, but the drying thing confuses me.. and you need different type of
layers =S
Quote by DREAMis it possible to import
vectors from Illustrator [converted via a PSD file] into Painter so i can paint
"fill" individual selected closed paths?
any advice is appreciated.
I've done that on my painted vectors (Girl in Gaea, Gathering Rain). Basically I
create a PSD file with the outlines on the top layer, locked. Then in Painter,
on layers below the outline layer, you can paint in details. (Generally I
already have blocked out colors in Illustrator, so the color layers are below
the outline layers and I work directly on those layers in Painter.)
woah- cherries, strawberries, razors.... i am allergic to all 3....
