Hmm....well, since the first episode is out for Persona, I'll give it a try.
Theres still a few that I have my eye on, so if any aren't what I've hoped for
theres always some others to watch. Still waiting on Ookami to Koushinryou and
Shigofumi which should be getting subbed soon. Since Ookami to Koushinryou
actually is suppost to air tonight, I hope someone will pick it up quick. I
mean, they have the voices of Fukuyama Jun (Lelouch) and Koshimizu Ami (Kallen)
as the main characters!
Also, is it me...or has Clannad's sub releases pretty much been released on
every day of the week...I mean, it started on Wednesday, now it's coming out
once every week, almost on a different day each week....

Persona is going to have to really have a good episode to impress me however. I
wasn't really impressed by the previews or the snap shots from Random Curiosity.
I will check it out however, but it's going to take a good solid episode to
convince me to watch the full series. I will be checking out True Tears and Kimi
ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de however, since both already cought my interest
before Persona. I guess since I haven't actually played any of the Persona
games, I have no real connection to the series, who knows, we shall see what
happens.
(BTW - New Gundam00 episode is out finally! )

Btw, I've watched two of the new anime as well. Watched H2O~Footprints in the
Sand and Rosario X Vampire. I really liked H2O for some reason, the plot is
something original and interesting. Rosario X Vampire however....man, what a
panty shot fest! I cannot believe how many times you see those white panties of
hers...Not to mention when she transforms, wow....>.< Talked about an
increase in letter size all around.
Overall, I will be watching both. See where the vampire one is going and H2O had
a really great first episode, I felt really sad for the main girl though, they
never explained why she was being attacked and beaten all the time, guess we'll
find out soon enough.
Omg, I have to go through the first week of the new semester without watching
the new Shana episode.....arg! Damn you New Years! Forcing Shana to be on hold!

For someone that always seems a little pissed off about something, she looks way

Also, I have heard about the novels and manga rumor. From what I can tell, the
novels are better, however the anime series is so close to the anime most think
the anime series is better. The manga isn't so great, I think it's mainly
because it was released after the novels and anime was, which leaves many to
question what is actually being shown and what is missing. I for one love the
anime series, however I also like the novels...(however I hate reading, so thats
most likely why...) It's mainly personal opinion really.
Btw - Hayate is 52 episodes long, so far there are 36 episodes released so far.
There hasn't been much support for the series mainly because it is starting to
get really dragged...(by hey, if they subbed Naruto and Inuyasha, then why not
Hayate...it's only 52 episodes, not 200+...)

Hehe, Blue Drop had a great storyline, regardless of it being slow the story was
solid and very well planned out. The action was fantastic and the animation was
great when you got into the higher resolutions. I really enjoyed the series, the
ending was great, tons of fighting..however I feel they could expand on it and
extend the series. I really miss Higano! T.T
I have watched Macross Frontier (I loved Macross Zero...). I actually I have it
on my Zune atm cuz my friend wanted to see it and he doesn't have an internet
connection. I cannot wait for the next one...four months later, lol..
The only problem is there isn't really a higher resolution version out, Macross
Zero looked very nice in the 1280x768 resolutions, but since this one is AVI,
it's a bit fuzzy. Overall cannot wait until it comes out!

Anyway, I have to agree with you two. I've seen the trailers for the winter 2008
season and it really doesn't look good. What we need is another Fall 2007
season, man the series from that season were awesome, I've almost watched every
single one that came out, Clannad, Shana Second, Gundam00, Night Wizard, Blue
Drop, and so on, really good series. I do look forward to the cat girl anime
staring the voices of Lelouch and Karen from Code Geass, also the H2O one looks
like one worth watching..er..at least the first episode at least. Still have
Clannad to watch, and Shana Second. Just need something to keep me busy till
April when the second season of Code Geass starts!
Btw, I officially got my new computer up and running today! It's freaking
awesome, I love it....though Vista is still a pain working out the bugs and
everything. But with the new 4gb of RAM I can finally do video encoding and
editing again! Plus I can do a lot more game level designs and photoshop since
my computer can handle much much more....hehe, sooo many ideas!

Well in anime related news - A couple of series have ended recently, including
the following:
Blue Drop (awesome anime)
Night Wizard
Ef - A Tale of Memories
Myself Yourself (really was disappointed in the ending for this one)
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun
The reason I'm bring these up is because they are sorta related to Shana and a
couple other animes. As you might know already, Random Curiosity has posted
their Winter
2008 Preview and a couple of new animes will be taking the spots of the ones
that ending and a couple of animes will have new airing times. Shakugan no Shana
Second is on hold till next year, and I do believe it will have a new airing
time. This is unofficial yet, but a lot of animes are getting new times because
there is a bunch of new animes starting in January alone. There will be 19 new
series starting in January alone, which means to air all the new series they
will need to make room, most will be aired by the same stations that also air
Shakugan no Shana Second - TBS and MBS. I'm really looking forward to the new
series, however in case anyone else has noticed, there has been a lack in recent
releases of Shakugan no Shana Second, so far only one fansub actually does the
series, and even they don't put out the episodes on time, which is a bit
worrying, since I'm hoping this will not turn into another Tsubasa Chronicles
(first season and beginning of second) or Prism Ark, which had strong support
but later many lost interest and stopped subbing. Though I hope Shana's fate
will not be the same, I really doubt this series will have the same fate as
those and many others.

Also, I have heard about the novels and manga rumor. From what I can tell, the novels are better, however the anime series is so close to the anime most think the anime series is better. The manga isn't so great, I think it's mainly because it was released after the novels and anime was, which leaves many to question what is actually being shown and what is missing. I for one love the anime series, however I also like the novels...(however I hate reading, so thats most likely why...) It's mainly personal opinion really.
Btw - Hayate is 52 episodes long, so far there are 36 episodes released so far. There hasn't been much support for the series mainly because it is starting to get really dragged...(by hey, if they subbed Naruto and Inuyasha, then why not Hayate...it's only 52 episodes, not 200+...)
And don't kill Yuuji! I WILL STOP YOU! I have high hopes for him. He's been through a lot, and having to deal with the fact that he's already dead should tell you he can pretty much live through anything...plus, how do you already kill someone that is already dead?...OMG! You just made me think of something, if Yuuji is already dead, then if he does get Yoshida (I hope not!) then man that is going to be very very weird, since they can't have kids...or can they...O_o
I can understand him living with Shana since they have a lot more in common, but Yuuji getting a Human girl just doesn't fit...LETS KILL YOSHIDA AND KONEO! BUAHAHA!

Hehe, Blue Drop had a great storyline, regardless of it being slow the story was solid and very well planned out. The action was fantastic and the animation was great when you got into the higher resolutions. I really enjoyed the series, the ending was great, tons of fighting..however I feel they could expand on it and extend the series. I really miss Higano! T.T
I have watched Macross Frontier (I loved Macross Zero...). I actually I have it on my Zune atm cuz my friend wanted to see it and he doesn't have an internet connection. I cannot wait for the next one...four months later, lol..
The only problem is there isn't really a higher resolution version out, Macross Zero looked very nice in the 1280x768 resolutions, but since this one is AVI, it's a bit fuzzy. Overall cannot wait until it comes out!

as for me, anime seasons for 2008 looks promising.. I'm currently waiting for Rosary x Vampire, Gunslinger 2, Persona, Kanokon, Mai otome Sifr adn a lot more I guess.. looks like my shitty internet connection speed can't keep up with the flood *sigh*

Anyway, I have to agree with you two. I've seen the trailers for the winter 2008 season and it really doesn't look good. What we need is another Fall 2007 season, man the series from that season were awesome, I've almost watched every single one that came out, Clannad, Shana Second, Gundam00, Night Wizard, Blue Drop, and so on, really good series. I do look forward to the cat girl anime staring the voices of Lelouch and Karen from Code Geass, also the H2O one looks like one worth watching..er..at least the first episode at least. Still have Clannad to watch, and Shana Second. Just need something to keep me busy till April when the second season of Code Geass starts!
Btw, I officially got my new computer up and running today! It's freaking awesome, I love it....though Vista is still a pain working out the bugs and everything. But with the new 4gb of RAM I can finally do video encoding and editing again! Plus I can do a lot more game level designs and photoshop since my computer can handle much much more....hehe, sooo many ideas!

Well in anime related news - A couple of series have ended recently, including the following:
Blue Drop (awesome anime)
Night Wizard
Ef - A Tale of Memories
Myself Yourself (really was disappointed in the ending for this one)
Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun
The reason I'm bring these up is because they are sorta related to Shana and a couple other animes. As you might know already, Random Curiosity has posted their Winter 2008 Preview and a couple of new animes will be taking the spots of the ones that ending and a couple of animes will have new airing times. Shakugan no Shana Second is on hold till next year, and I do believe it will have a new airing time. This is unofficial yet, but a lot of animes are getting new times because there is a bunch of new animes starting in January alone. There will be 19 new series starting in January alone, which means to air all the new series they will need to make room, most will be aired by the same stations that also air Shakugan no Shana Second - TBS and MBS. I'm really looking forward to the new series, however in case anyone else has noticed, there has been a lack in recent releases of Shakugan no Shana Second, so far only one fansub actually does the series, and even they don't put out the episodes on time, which is a bit worrying, since I'm hoping this will not turn into another Tsubasa Chronicles (first season and beginning of second) or Prism Ark, which had strong support but later many lost interest and stopped subbing. Though I hope Shana's fate will not be the same, I really doubt this series will have the same fate as those and many others.
