ranging from sapphire blue to ash gray or from ruby red to sinful black. Her
drawings ranges from different mood, emotion, theme, setting, etc. There's a lot
of European elements in her work. She like to draw men with long wavy hair. Her
B&W pics are as much beautiful as her colored ones. The quality, layout, and
price is really perfect. I can't ask for anything more. It's all here.

The cover doesn't do the artbook justice AT ALL because one would hardly notice
it. "Sound of Color" was a great title because once you flip through
the pages, the drawings speak to you. I asked my dad to buy this in the last
minute and it was so worth it. The style is a combination of Shel & Rain.
What's different from Shel was that her characters look more mature and grown
up. It's similar to Rain's style in that the strains of smoke & clouds in
some of the pictures gives off a mistfying calmness that blends so naturally
with the surrounding. However there's something about her/his work that stands
out. I can't quiet put my finger on it yet. But I do know that I like her more
than Shel & Rain combine.
Because of all the pretty boys in this one, I decided to post this one

With Love Mode, v01 really throws the readers off because the story get SO much
better and interesting with vol2 and so on. Reiji x Naoya is one of my fav yaoi
couples ever! You really get to see Shimizu sensei's art work inprove in this
series as well.
I have two top fav mangaka. 1st, Naono Bohra, 2nd, Inariya Fusanosuke. I tried
to think of a 3rd one, but it's just too hard. lols.

first english edition of Viewfinder for over 100 bucks or even more.
Well I've finally decided on one to buy After all
those Yamada Yuugi stories I've found Laugh under the Sun that isn't yet
scanleted and is related to some other works from, besides it's from June Manga
which I'm quite pleased with.
I agree DramaQueen should hurry and start releasing their licensed titles
already, since there are so many and their books and editing is pretty good.
Blu's books I believe are from the same quality as bebeautiful, the translation
and editing I don't know. Also can't be really sure cause I don't own any, I've
just had a love mode one in my hands before, but didn't buy it at the
time.
[Yamakami Riyu] Mitasareru Kuchibiru - I've also read it before and I think it's
quite good but I usually like her stories so...

They always over charge here, but I think a bit TOO much. After looking over
some other chinese CG artist similar to Heise, I am starting to have 2nd
thoughts about her because there are so many other artist that do similar work,

Mitasareru Kuchibiru - I don't know how I missed this manga. Once you read
her work, you know her stories are great. This one is no surprise either.
Takashi is seen as a 'gloomy' guy that's in the shadow of his step-brother who
suppresses and manipulates him. But what happens when Takashi meets Kurose, a
playboy who has taken an interest in Takashi's beauty which others had missed?
You see a GREAT transformation of the character. I really like the way Yamakami
sensei draws those powerful stares. Very compiling. So please give this one a
try and tell me what do you think of it.

Art Book Report ~part I~
Heise's Whole Package (260 RMB = $35 USD)
1. Her 1st artbook is a very disappointment. It contain 36 pages in B$ format
(which is similar to a managa book size) The images were beautiful, but they
were all WATERMARKED! You can probably get all the images from her website. The
paper were so thick (it's like turning 5 pages at a time). I had a hard time
trying to open he book wide enough to see the images. *sigh*
2. Chibi package - VERY VERY cute. But the quality of paper is not too good,
very thin, almost like regular fax paper. I felt that some of the images were a
bit blurry and 'blow up' from the original pics. Even though the pics were very
adorable and perverted, the quality is a let down. (I'll be sharing this one to
the members only.)
3. Poster set, same as the one reirei777 got. (pretty)
4. Her newest artbook or shall say, post card set? Contain 20 postcards, double
sided. Better paper, but could be more better. Beautiful images. (I'll be share
this one)
5. extra random postcards - printed on glossy paper & in better color
tone.
6. With item you buy, you get extra things like book marks, stickers, SD doll
pics of her characters.
Final Thought, I was quiet disappointed at this whole package. But with the
price I paid, I can't complain much. If you're paying what they charge you on
DA, then I don't think you get what you paid for. I don't know why they call it
an artbook when it's just postcard. I hope her future products will be better.

Ok, Aside from what I had recommended, the only one that's left is [Homerun
Ken] Clan of the Nakagamis. It's more toward the Shounen Ai side.
Most of the ones that's licensed are your typical mangakas. At the same time,
there's a lot unreleased ones that's good and unscanlted. So you can wait or get
the ones you really want now.
If only DramaQueen can release their licensed work already...*pout*
I was going to buy Dog Style, but I backed out because I didn't like their
editing even though it's already pretty good. That's how picky I am. lols
I am sticking to scanlation because you have so much to chose from. Sometimes I
wish they're the publisher because you get good translation and editing.

Thanks for all the recommendations I was
hoping to get yebisu celebrities because I also love fuwa shinri works but since
it is by bebeautiful I'm not very sure of it because of all the recent probs it
has. I'm still waiting for my Viewfinder 3 and I don't see any light at the end
of the tunnel. And I don't really like their translations and books it's just
because I wanted to have them in book since I'm a fan and for Yebisu because I
would like to read them but until they sort their troubles out I don't think
I'll be getting anything from them. In terms of the books the best quality has
to be junemanga and dramaqueen. There's quite a bit of stuff that I want from
blu, but those are the known ones and I already have read the scanlations.
I normally prefer beautiful artwork, but if the story is good enough I can also
live without it. I find Yamada Yuugi stories very sweet but
didn't like close the last door very much. Right now I would want something that
wasn't scanleted yet, something new. My first pick would definitly be Yebisu but
I don't think I'll be able to get it. Most of the ones that I want are already
licensed but with no date of release... I really want to get in the Walnut and
loveholic vol2, I've been waiting for it for ages (I'm a Toko
Kawai fan) As for genre I don't really have one, I'm to much of an addict I read
almost everything Even the most stupid stories...
I'll be checking Spring Fever since I haven't heard about it before.
As for the lamento cuties now that you mention it in dollars it seems much more
frightening I would've paid 62$ for mine and the big ones are also gourgeous but
those of course I couldn't get them all (even if I wanted to) only got Rai which
is my favorite even if I must say it could be much better, but since he is my
fav I got him.
@ silverdragon - I saw the chibi figure as well. they are REALLY cute and the
whole set is so expensive (around $70ish) T.T
I am quite picky with licensed yaoi manga, so I don't buy a lot, actually, I
haven't bought one yet (I am waiting for The Summit and Love Mode to be
complete). But before you buy, always check out the raws or previews if you can.
Dog
Style by Modoru Motoni - I LOVE this one. You'll get a lot of laughs and a
great sex scene in the 1st vol. The story is very original and the art is
pretty. Modoru has a very distinctive style of writing and art. So not everyone
will like it. I f you want a preview, go to yshare@LJ to get the whole vol.
DramaQueen has one of the best translations, so i'll definitely recommend them.
But their stuff is pretty hard to get.
Last
Portrait by Akira Honma You get two storys, i like the 2nd one better.

Is Like A Hurricane - I love this series. Only v01 was scanlated. It's the
funniest school boy love ever. The H scene are great as well.
Yebisu
Celebrities - I love Fuwa Shinri's work. It was never scanlated, so I don't
know much about the storylines.
I had a bad experience with Tokyopop's, so now, i am afraid to buy their manga
because sometimes it can be good, and other times, it can be really
horrible.
But BLU do license some pretty good works like Love Mode (which is like a must
read for all yaoi fans. It's like the bible), Love Pistols (a bit hard to get
use to the style) I heard Voice or Noise v01 was a bit average from
reviews.
If you want good stories and don't mind the art, I'll defintly recommend Riyu
Yamakami & Yamada Yugi (but I think the scanlated ones are better than the
currently licensed works): Spring
Fever Close
the Last Door - you can get this on yshare.
Tell me what kinda yaoi and style you like to read (ex. genre: school boys,
businessman, fantasies, hardcore, etc) and i'll give you a better list of
recommendation. I prefer story over art work anytime, so if you like books
that's better in art, do let me know.

Finally updated Hot Stuff with Fuwa Shinri'sYakkai na
Bokura. I am not sure if it's I am too emotional, this one really made me
tear up , especially chapter 3. I think chapter 4 is suppose to be leave you
wondering and guessing because there's another sequel. When Sou is a baby, he's
SO CUTE! I had a lot of laughs and tears when I read this one, so I hope you
guys can enjoy it as well.
By the way, is anybody here also experiencing some problem with MT? Sometimes
the pages doesn't even load or take forever to load?

Shushushu] Ai no Gebokutachi (Love Prisoners) - I am always afraid to
Sakurai sensei's work because they literally don't make any sense! This one
compare to her other works had a little bit more meaning(?). I just adore the
first couple's children(especially the chubby one, so innocent. lols) , they're
are just so cute. You get a story about the children when they're in high
school. You will be surprised at who's the uke and seme in this manga. Even
though some events appear to be very odd, her boys are always a pleasure to look
at.
Akira is an innocent and pure hearted boy that sells fruits and vegetable.
Motoya is a predecessor to a big corporation company that wants to buy the land
Akira's shop is located. Akira is willing to do anything to save the land,
"please let me be your lover." He arrives at Luna Casa, house of
lovers. Will he just be another lover, check it out to find out.
Personal opinion:
The uke is SO pure hearted. I have never seen a uke with such good character.
Very lovable. The seme can be really sweet as well. The story is predictable,
but it was really fun reading it and the H scenes are HOT! Overall, it's pretty
nice.
I wish there's a spin off story about Akira's brother and Motoya's assistant.

I normally prefer beautiful artwork, but if the story is good enough I can also live without it. I find Yamada Yuugi stories very sweet
but
didn't like close the last door very much. Right now I would want something that
wasn't scanleted yet, something new. My first pick would definitly be Yebisu but
I don't think I'll be able to get it. Most of the ones that I want are already
licensed but with no date of release... I really want to get in the Walnut and
loveholic vol2, I've been waiting for it for ages

Kawai fan) As for genre I don't really have one, I'm to much of an addict I read
almost everything

I'll be checking Spring Fever since I haven't heard about it before.
As for the lamento cuties now that you mention it in dollars it seems much more frightening
I would've paid 62$ for mine and the big ones are also gourgeous but
those of course I couldn't get them all (even if I wanted to) only got Rai which
is my favorite even if I must say it could be much better, but since he is my
fav I got him.
@ silverdragon - I saw the chibi figure as well. they are REALLY cute and the whole set is so expensive (around $70ish) T.T
I am quite picky with licensed yaoi manga, so I don't buy a lot, actually, I haven't bought one yet (I am waiting for The Summit and Love Mode to be complete). But before you buy, always check out the raws or previews if you can.
Dog Style by Modoru Motoni - I LOVE this one. You'll get a lot of laughs and a great sex scene in the 1st vol. The story is very original and the art is pretty. Modoru has a very distinctive style of writing and art. So not everyone will like it. I f you want a preview, go to yshare@LJ to get the whole vol.
DramaQueen has one of the best translations, so i'll definitely recommend them. But their stuff is pretty hard to get.
Last Portrait by Akira Honma You get two storys, i like the 2nd one better. Again, you can also go to yshare to download the whole vol.
Love Is Like A Hurricane - I love this series. Only v01 was scanlated. It's the funniest school boy love ever. The H scene are great as well.
Yebisu Celebrities - I love Fuwa Shinri's work. It was never scanlated, so I don't know much about the storylines.
I had a bad experience with Tokyopop's, so now, i am afraid to buy their manga because sometimes it can be good, and other times, it can be really horrible.
But BLU do license some pretty good works like Love Mode (which is like a must read for all yaoi fans. It's like the bible), Love Pistols (a bit hard to get use to the style) I heard Voice or Noise v01 was a bit average from reviews.
If you want good stories and don't mind the art, I'll defintly recommend Riyu Yamakami & Yamada Yugi (but I think the scanlated ones are better than the currently licensed works):

that's a good report, I actually like heise's art a lot, but to have an artbook with all the images watermarked... what's the point in buying it?

Art Book Report ~part I~
Heise's Whole Package (260 RMB = $35 USD)
1. Her 1st artbook is a very disappointment. It contain 36 pages in B$ format (which is similar to a managa book size) The images were beautiful, but they were all WATERMARKED! You can probably get all the images from her website. The paper were so thick (it's like turning 5 pages at a time). I had a hard time trying to open he book wide enough to see the images. *sigh*
2. Chibi package - VERY VERY cute. But the quality of paper is not too good, very thin, almost like regular fax paper. I felt that some of the images were a bit blurry and 'blow up' from the original pics. Even though the pics were very adorable and perverted, the quality is a let down. (I'll be sharing this one to the members only.)
3. Poster set, same as the one reirei777 got. (pretty)
4. Her newest artbook or shall say, post card set? Contain 20 postcards, double sided. Better paper, but could be more better. Beautiful images. (I'll be share this one)
5. extra random postcards - printed on glossy paper & in better color tone.
6. With item you buy, you get extra things like book marks, stickers, SD doll pics of her characters.
Final Thought, I was quiet disappointed at this whole package. But with the price I paid, I can't complain much. If you're paying what they charge you on DA, then I don't think you get what you paid for. I don't know why they call it an artbook when it's just postcard. I hope her future products will be better.
On the left corner of the 1st pic, you'll see my first teddy bear's feet. lols. I have a lot of stuff animals, but never a teddy bear. So I finally bought one last weekend. It's so soft! lols.

Finally updated Hot Stuff with Fuwa Shinri'sYakkai na Bokura. I am not sure if it's I am too emotional, this one really made me tear up , especially chapter 3. I think chapter 4 is suppose to be leave you wondering and guessing because there's another sequel. When Sou is a baby, he's SO CUTE! I had a lot of laughs and tears when I read this one, so I hope you guys can enjoy it as well.
By the way, is anybody here also experiencing some problem with MT? Sometimes the pages doesn't even load or take forever to load?

[SAKURAI Shushushu] Ai no Gebokutachi (Love Prisoners) - I am always afraid to Sakurai sensei's work because they literally don't make any sense! This one compare to her other works had a little bit more meaning(?). I just adore the first couple's children(especially the chubby one, so innocent. lols) , they're are just so cute. You get a story about the children when they're in high school. You will be surprised at who's the uke and seme in this manga. Even though some events appear to be very odd, her boys are always a pleasure to look at.

Personal opinion:
The uke is SO pure hearted. I have never seen a uke with such good character. Very lovable. The seme can be really sweet as well. The story is predictable, but it was really fun reading it and the H scenes are HOT! Overall, it's pretty nice.
I wish there's a spin off story about Akira's brother and Motoya's assistant.
