She totally screwed up with Sirius. Once she mentions something, she almost always visits again, but not the Chamber of Death. Come on, give it a fancy name and set everything up, but don't do anything with it? what the heck? And remember what Luna said? You'll see him again?

at the end of the book my only remaining favorite characters were hagrid and Kingsly(a black guy survived until the end that is unprecedented !

I wanted Harry to live, but I agree it seemed thrown together. As for Dumbledore, I've heard it suggested that she did it to disprove theories that she's homophobic.

i didn't like the hellboy movie it wasn't at all like the book or league of extraordinary gentlemen..
you know they have been making so many movies that are based on graphic novels
i refused to watch war of the worlds i didnt want to see them tear that book apart i mean it ddint even take place in england and it took place in the modern times..they always try to do that everything about that movie pissed me off..

I know, I completely get what you mean. Take Harry Potter five - that was almost like a reimagining of the book. Now, why notbreak it into two different movies like they're doing with the seventh book, which is shorter by about a hundred pages?

Punky plays Doom; that's another thing they made a movie out of. Speaking of movies based off videogames, I like Resident Evil, but I haven't seen the third yet. Actually, I'm a fan of Milla's, which might help.

i mean i can sympathize with the peolple who do movies over long books and they cant get ever single detail in there i can understand that but what i hate is when i see a movie over a book and im like did you even reead the book? i doubt that they have

Have you watched The Golden Compass? I've only read the first book and while I wasn't that astonished by it, I want to see the movie.

you know thats exactally what i was thinking too i didn't even want to watch it so i didn't ..one movie that i think slaughtered the book was Alex Rider stormbreaker that was a really good series and i saw this trailer on it and it looked horrible..i could tell that just from watching the god damn trailer..

Oh, I know! Or unfaithful adaptions. I admit, sometimes changes can be wonderful, but sometimes they make you want to puke. Actually, right now the only thing I can think of is Eragon, and to compare that to the book disgusts me. True, the movie might have redeemable qualities, and true, Eragon isn't the best book ever written, but still. They slaughtered it. Cannon? They laughed in its face.

I grew up watching stuff like Terminator and Lethal Weapon endlessly. Oddly enough, I haven't seen the third Terminator, but I love the first two. My point was that I've actually seen part of the series based on Terminator and while it doesn't have the appeal of the movies, I think it's interesting. Plus, parts of it just amuse me even if the timeline screws up my world.
