some of the manga scans i see it as light brown?

That's true Sinever... All parts of the character is badly drawn in the anime...
Oh yea, in that picture Shiki's Eyes are blue, but he's eyes are actually silver~ =D

but temari-chan the problem is not in the eyes only
the whole face & each character personality & facial expressions are all wrong
the art lacks detail

Members of our group can draw much better VK drawings than the anime...
But I got to say... Almost all shoujo manga which became an anime looks bad...
I tried vectoring Shiki's eyes from the cover of chapter 29 with black outlines... and it does look similar to the anime.... So I can't really blame them... But then, they colored Shiki's wrongly in this picture -> vampire knight version anime by katlinne
Shiki looks okay at some parts of the anime... as for the other parts.... Grr... They really want me to be angry...
