Hi all! I'm on a keep-my-groups-alive round tonight! Well, I think you all have heard about the -elemental siblings... and while I sure can't do much, I can at least write posts every now and then and grant their request, no? Everyone must work to keep the group surviving!

To tell you the truth, I haven't really felt like posting or commenting on Minitokyo much lately... but I consider it my duty to participate in this group so...here I am. Okay,... what do you guys feel like talking about? I would like to prevent the previous situation where I just wrote long long posts that only Aali and Salma read... I kind of miss those times where everyone here was chatting away truely as a group..I didn't participate then but I read the guestbooks and I could really feel this ...ENERGY from it...why can't that happen again?

Melymay : I really do not know about that...maybe I'll ask one of the admins? Do they have access to the skin builder thing? I hope so.. I would love to see what new layout you have created...

Ermm...I'm currently watching Vampire Knight and Nabari no Ou.. That surprises me because I was actually going to skip watching new stuff for a while to catch up with all the older 'vintage' classics I had missed out... and I thought I would not like Vampire Knight actually. But things happened and lookie, I'm watching fresh anime! ^.^ I've already aired my thoughts on VK so...Nabari no Ou.
Funny, in actual fact, I do not quite enjoy the ninja stuff much since Rurouni Kenshin ended. Yet, I'm enjoying this! I'm a sucker for watercoloured, artistic but simple backgrounds so I'm totally engrossed with the art in Nabari no Ou. Haha. Character designs sure are thin but it's kind of attractive and interesting. They broke the usual rules and starred Miharu, a boy who is at once distant, subtly manipulating, kinda spaced out and doesn't give a damn that it looks real girly when he switches on the kawaii-don't hurt-me look...which works oddly enough. The two guys, Tobari and Kouichi try so hard to convince him, and... he just walks off. I couldn't help grinning at that even though there weren't really any of those 'super emoticon' things.. watch the first episode and I think you'll get what I mean! I liked the OP but ED is so and so...strangely, it sounded exactly like one of the songs I randomly made up and 'play' in my head...lol.

Well, Hope someone reads this! If it will get back members to converse, I won't write any more book reviews here! So answer! Someone! Haven, Lunariha, Nera334, priincess...just reply SOMETHING! I want assurance that I'm not killing the mood here...haha

My Newest Vector: ~Simply Charming~

Yay! Aali's back! Yup, watched the English-sub of VK yesterday..a bit rushed but better that I expected. ^.^ Zero's voice is just as I expected though Kaname's voice isn't exactly what I usually 'hear' when I read the manga... But girls love that sort of voice anyway. I was kind of hoping that Yuuki would get a voice like Shuurei from Saiunkoku Monogatari but..not bad at all. Me love background design.. ^.^ I'm really glad that they didn't enhance the Trinity Blood look-a-likeness in Yuuki and the chairman. Otherwise, I would be like 0.o every time he begs her to call her father... Sweet job.

Salma: here! my name's meaning: 'It is of Welsh origin, and its meaning is "fair one". Variant of Guinevere. Mythology: in Arthurian tales, Guinevere was Arthur's queen. ' I saw this and laughed at the irony. I'm so not 'the fair one'... But my name is really common.. and there a couple of people who share my name and I really don't like them... Just now, I was at the bookstore and I thought I heard some kid calling for me. But nah, the voice was way too kawaii sweet to be anyone I know...and it wasn't for me. Haha. One of the characters in my Chinese name means "honest, just, noble". I used to be able to live up to it..but lately, not doing such a great job at it. lol.

Yatta! I finished reading Valiant at the bookstore! It was so darn good to read it; almost all the relationships really flowed well and there's some well-done surprises here and there. I mean, they're not thoroughly unexpected but they were just written so well, with human reaction, not too overdone.. Roiben appears near the epilogue but I'm afraid that while he's fair enough, I do not know why you love him, Salma... he seems to disregard humans a bit too. Ravus is the leading man here..well sort of. And Val is a surprisingly solid character, with emotional depth and guts to stand for the things precious to her. I like how unlike most fantasy books, some intellect is used rather than a 'fate spins us together and it will decide for us' theme all through out..

Okie. Really got to sleep now. Have fun with your Sunday! Mine's already ended. T.T Didn't get much me me time too this weekend... oh yeah, on a side note, here's more positive news; my doujinshi's all done! Yay! Now all I need is to 'win'/'earn' a scanner...
