My apologies. This was a case of me having the mega-stupids and not following
the embedded threads closely enough. You, I agree, would be careful... Its all
Jak's fault.

Quote by jakulito Okay, saikusa's
retired... to whom do we submit Plot Synopsessessees now? (I have no idea what's
the plural for it)
Why not post that question in the Minitokyo forum, I tend to doubt that any of
us will know off the tops of our heads.
I remember Maplerose once saying that littlejonny100 is now the Reviews section
moderator. Maybe we should delegate the role to him (or maybe Marissa and get
her annoyed). BTW, the plural is synopses (with the e, not the i). Close sho,
just a few too many e's and s'.
Quote by shoujoboyAww someone wanted
birthday wishes... too bad you aren't gonna get em from me. I don't acknowledge
birthdays as a day that requires well wishing. Kinda like saying
"Congratulations on being born, although you really had no choice in the
matter". I'm such a cynic.
<snip>
Ah the negativity is strong in this one.
Naw, I knew a statement like this would spark some discussion since our board
has been fairly quiet again for a few days (and the comment would have had to be from you). Apparently I
did make the choice (and a rather
inconvenient one at that) by deciding to come into the world a month earlier
than scheduled. You are indeed a cynic, and dare I say that is part of your
charm. You'd probably fit in quite well down here in Oz, and we always love
seeing how gullible the Americans often are (can anyone say the dreaded
"drop bears"). Seriously, someone from the US rang the Council and
asked "do you have kangaroos in the middle of Sydney?" We replied
"Of course, there is a daily parade of them on schedule at 3.00pm. We just
herd them up the road like the running of the bulls" and then kacked
ourselves laughing after the caller hung up.
Quote by davidh01 Happy Birthday to me.
Happy ... oh, crap the day's almost over. Just finished a marathon listening
session of new CDs I'd ordered from CDJapan (Escaflowne; Gundam Seed Destiny;
and Saikano: Another Love Song). Gotta say that Escaflowne is the most awesome
anime soundtrack out, the Dance of the Curse track sends shivers down my spine.
Mizuki (from Saikano) almost had me in tears - a very plaintive song full of
emotion. Pity we can't review CDs through this
forum.

I hear you on the Escaflowne soundtrack. It was a pretty good soundtrack, and
Yakusoku wa Iranai was what got me into Maaya Sakamoto. Too bad I can't say the
same of the anime which I absolutely hated. I know I'm on the minority of that
one, but I really did hate that show.
I'm not one for buying anime soundtracks as I tend to just buy CD's of specific
artists. I've used anime openings/closing songs to determine some artist CD's
before though. As for reviewing CD's... why don't you make a killer wallpaper or
something and sneak your review into the background. Kind of like a subliminal
message. Besides, if you do that you'll have hundreds of people actually look at
it and favorite it instead of click it and say "oh my God, there's words on
this page" and subsequently leave.
All right. After a SFA weekend, I've pulled out a review for Silent Mobius (the
TV series). Probably one of the few "mainstream" series on MT without
a review so far. Absent no longer.

Quote by Milkiyohmm..I have some
suggestions for the review options. Shouldn't there be a review preview button?
It gets annoying having to update to see what you are actually typing (consider
the puny box for you to type- scrolling doesn't help either as you miss the
upper parts). The pics also disappear everytime I edit it and I kept having to
upload them again.
ok..I am done with the review..I think.
I always compose my reviews in a separate editor (TextEdit for Macs, Notepad for
Windows if you must), which gives me much more breathing space to look at my
content. Then, like Jak suggests, simply copy-and-paste the content into the
respective boxes. This way you always have a backup if things go pear-shaped and
you lose a lot of work and effort. I'd also suggest avoid the likes of Word or
OpenOffice (or similar). They always bundle in extra crap formatting,
particularly Word with its "smart quotes" and replace as you type
features, that do not translate well into the MT environment.
P.S. You'll notice I've updated the staff roster to add our newest member - so
its official.

Ever since the creation of my first review I've been wanting that, too. And I
think the same goes for all of us.
I use my guestbook to preview each section of my review. Type it in notepad
first then copy-paste to my guestbook, hit preview then paste it in the review
submission form.
And btw, welcome to the group.

Maybe in your wildest delusional fantasies... If we're wanting to attract new

anyone asking "what drugs are we on?"

Agreed, the prospect shows potential. Hopefully they take our comments/criticism
on board and isn't scared off.

1. I still say our page should have a dog eating an ice cream cone as the

2. Don't expect a review from me. I told you I was looking at at least 70 hours

4. MapleRose, I've already told you, I'm not one for battles of futility. Saying
I'm better than Mwu is going to be an impossibility. Yet, you want me to think
them up still? That leads me to one of two conclusions. 1. We are to the point
where we are playing "lets ridicule sho and see how much of an ass he can
make himself out to be" or 2. You are geniunely intrigued by what Sho
brings to the table. If it's the former then let's call the joke complete and I

to this subject in the MT Review guestbook and take this elsewhere. If that last
line made you laugh, then I'm probably already screwed.
