@Yoru: Does the wallpaper have to be visually dark? I mean, dark wallies are also ones that have a creepy atmosphere, not ones which are necessarily full of blood Maybe you should have specified this in the contest rules, it all depends on which point of view you look at it. Just my 2 cents.

@Dev: Don't worry about it, practice makes perfect! When you'll think you're ready to wall your idea, you will and I bet we'll all be amazed

@Temari: Maybe I should give the manga a chance again I didn't read it too patiently so maybe that's the reason why I didn't understand so much of it.

@ Pande: Thanks for the support! The gringe one would've been awesome to do, but I just couldn't get it right. I guess I'm just not talented enough to get something like that right. Though I do have a new idea. Hopefully it will come to fruition! ^^

@ Temari: I have no idea how to make a vector from a 3D render, which is why I failed. It probably wouldn't have looked any good anyway. Buuuuuuuut, I do still have some ideas and tricks up my sleeves! >:0

@Dev: Hi Good luck in getting an idea, I know how difficult it is to find something to wall for Aniwood I'd love to see the Grinch wallpaper, I bet it'd look really creepy!

@Temari: I find the anime better (the manga's good too but the anime is better to me) because this way I know who is who Sounds silly, but in the manga all the male characters were drawn in a similar way and I couldn't tell them apart! ' The art is lovely though, I found 2 pics to vector myself (who knows when I'll do that but that's beside the point )

My work for Dark wallies and also my entry for the contest: Survival of the Fittest

I had several good ideas for my Aniwood entry, but the scans I found proved too difficult to modify correctly. For an example, I was gonna use a scan of some creepy dude in a santa suite for a Grinch Who Stole Christmas wallpaper, but making the guy be green and hairy was harder than I originally thought.

Another good idea I had was a Nikita themed wallpaper using the 3D render of Ada Wong from RE4. But vectoring a 3D model is not easy at all.

So I need to come up with a good theme and an appropriate scan or else I'll be forced to drop the whole contest. :/

@ Temari: Alrighty! I'll go read VK when I'm not so busy... which should be soon (I hope). Hopefully I'll find a scan that inspires me to make something new and fantastic! (yeah right P=)

As for Aniwood, I might have to drop it as well unless Sinever extends the deadline. I've been really busy with some mandatory projects that I don't feel I have enough time to create two well-made wallies in a few weeks. I could always choose Aniwood over my second dark-wallie entry, but I've been having troubles with the whole Aniwood theme.
