First reason, yes, because he hates Vampire.
Second, Kaname is a pure blood and he gives off the same "scent" as Shizuka who killed Zero's family.
Third... I think Zero hates his attitude
I think there should be more reason but I just can't remember now

as for chapter 40 it was a great chapter properly one of the chapter that Im not gonna forget
I loved every page of it & the twins were so .........
after reading the translation I really cant tell if ichiru is dead or alive, I wish that he is still alive cause both zero & ichiru deserve to live happily after all that suffering
but if this is the end of ichiru I think Hino did a great job
like this he will be living inside zero together forever

hee hee...it does look like a heart! *giggles* It must've been just they way she was holding it...it was still very cute though.^^ That episode was great and the beginning was absolutely delicious...kaname-sama laying seductively on a couch...just what every girl wants!^^ *giggles* okay...I had to get that outta my system. lol...loved every part of that episode though...especially Shiki's blood whip..that was kickin!^^
