Fair point, but also bear in mind that about the best we can do is provide constructive criticism. Whether the
author of the review decides to take that on board is ultimately up to them.
Unfortunately none of us in this group at least (correct me if I'm wrong
moderators - Maple, et al) have the ability to impose further sanctions upon
people who submit crap reviews, such as warning the author that their review
will be deleted if they don't edit it up to a satisfactory standard.

Can't argue with you on your first point on your contributions. However it
appears that some people don't take kindly to criticism (no matter how well
intended). I'd have to go on a limb here and say that some of your recent
comments were rather terse and the author could easily have taken it the wrong
way; for example, one comment about the punctuation suggesting banging your hand
in a door until it surrenders (or something along those lines) would have put my
nose out of joint had I been its target. Accusations are all well and good, but
unless they're substantiated then they hold little water - and it may be the
recipient venting back as they may indeed have put some effort into their work.
On balance, if the work needs improvement then they need to be told that and
ultimately, as I said earlier, the decision to edit their review remains with
them. I guess I can say that if you can take pride in the reviews you submit to the community, that's great.
Until others in this group actually have the ability to impose sanctions on
sub-standard reviews (i.e. deleting them) then our criticisms and complaints
will have limited impact on improving the community.

site has fallen into nothing more than a place for people to get their newest CC
and Lelouch vector and nothing more. The forums are still a joke and seemingly
nothing is being done to correct them. Hell just check the MT forum and you'll
see how gung ho spystreak was about closing favorites threads even though I
called him a damn liar, yet "Who's your favorite Naruto idiot" remains
strong.

I honestly don't know why this all pisses me off, but I almost attribute this to
when a child leaves home. Sure the kid is gone and you don't have to pay
attention to it all the damn time, but when it needs you, you know you need to
be there.

We have inactive members still in the group and still up in the top, but at
least they are still confirmed alive. My reviewing and MT days are done so I
guess a confirmed loss can be done away with. Either way, I'm on Yahoo under
shoujo_boy (Jak already knows this) so keep in contact (if you actually care
to). Keep representing MT Review crew in that oh so defunct review section and
remember; "What is popular is not always good. What is good is not always
popular." Out.

Jak is right. You don't deserve that sort of treatment. I know, we're a
sarcastic bunch at the best of times (speaking for myself here) but only really deserving people get that treatment -
you're nowhere near that level of annoyance. That said, we should try to uphold
a high level of "customer service" - so if you're really asking for it...

Well the deed is finally done. My inital estimates for completion was 70 hours
but it ended up taking 150. It appears my calculations were WAY off. I could
have done over ten 26 episode series, or 1/8th of Naruto, in that same time.
Either way, it's done and so completes my review work.

Per my previous message confusing your spelling for Sho's. Plural of synopsis is
synopses (a few too many e's and s'). I think I've had too much to drink, I'm
finding anything I find on the net at the moment uproariously funny (even when
I'm the one being dissed).
