Yes, the group is quiet. The series first came out Fall of 2004. At the time,
there were alot of buzzing about this series though probably not in this group.
The US release of Vol 1 took 2 years later to come out on DVD. By now, interest
for this series seems to be buried away as fans check out newer series. I still
love the show and would always love to talk about it to new fans.
If anyone got questions, please post it! Found new images? Feel free to share it
with us. And speaking of new images....

I highly recommend Lover's
Eternal by Tsuyazakura Kouyuki. In my opinion, the best epic KnM fanfic I
ever read from the start til its final (very fluffy) chapter.
I agreed that the anime is great (for a shoujo ai series only). The ending
before the credits has a powerful impact of emotions. It had brought tears to my
eyes.
Not much going on since the series is long over, but it does live through
fanfiction. if you haven;t yet done so, I recommend checking out some fics found
at Fanfiction.net
- Kannazuki no Miko.
Also the manga has been recently licensed in the US by Tokyopop, so there will
be an official english version coming out whenever.
KnM is still my all time favorite shoujo anime. Chikane/Himeko are my 2nd
favorite yuri couple. Sorry mikos, but Shizuru and Natsuki from Mai Hime still
reigns number one in my heart forever.
And with this brief talk about KnM, I got inspired to wake up the group a tiny
bit and share this scan from the bonus booklet that came with the LE
dvds.
It tells some background story of the places in the anime and a general
character relationship chart.
And for the oh so rare Souma x Himeko fans.

There are Chikane and Himeko figures out there for sale starting in Summer
2007.
They are pretty, but not something I would spends tons of $$ on. Their facial
features don't really look so great like their anime counterparts in my
opinion.
And there is this series done by the KnM creator called Kyoshiro to Towa no
Sora. Hopefully, visitors here have heard of it or seen it. Its not a direct
sequel, but the characters were used in an alternative universe storyline much
like what Mai Hime did with Mai Otome. Episode 9 of 12 is the current episode.

You're one of the very few who I heard likes the Souma x Himeko pairing and the
mechas. Most KnM fans I have encountered in various other boards think the story
can do without the mechas, want Souma to disappear/get beaten up, etc and see
Chikane and Himeko together forever.
I don't recall seeing alot of mecha art other than the ones seen in the MT
gallery. I do however have some B&W line art mecha scans from the KnM
artbook.
If you want to see more mecha line art from the artbook or some character art,
let me know and I'll see what I can upload.
