The Sound of Music wasn't all that bad, but I watched it when I was younger. Mama used to watch it every year.

I like some musicals, but I can't stand The Sound of Music. I know it's a classic, and the music is good, but there's just something about it I don't like.

on the screen or on a stage?

I have seen... nothing. Nada, zip, zilch, whatever other term you wish to use for never having seen a musical.

I saw Sweeny Todd.

I think she means musicals.

I've seen a lot of shows, Vanessa. Can you be more specific?

have you seen any shows mav?

Oh, most certainly.

Keeps things interesting.

Yeah, sure. And it's part of my charm that allows me to just roll my eyes at you and ignore you.

It's part on my charm. :P

You almost sound like you're proud of it.

Yeah, I know.

You are a terrible tease, you know that?

Meaning you might get it sent to you.

Meaning what?

We're talking about Phantom of the Opera, Nessa.

ehh wat u guys talking about? i wish i had a wal-mart close by. Wait no i don't, cause then it'd be like in Southpark and i wouldn't be able to stop buying stuff.

Well, there are still 162 shopping days left before Christmas. ;)

Yes, you've told me a lot of good things about it, but I still haven't seen it. I'm reading the book, though, and that's why I want to know. MawMaw says the old one is good, you say the new one is, and I want to see the musical, but I doubt that's going to happen.

I've seen the old one and the new one, but not enough to make comparisons. I saw the old one a long time ago too.

The new one is exceptional though.

Hey, do you have any clue how close the new(er) Phantom of the Opera movie is the the musical? Or how close the two movies themselves happen to be?

Haven't had much experience with a jig saw.
