hiya... could i join the group? ...there's a lot of members here- more than I'd expect- and that makes me happy ^^...although i don't really wish to be categorized into any sect- I belong to a Baptist church- it's where i feel most comfortable.

i didn't want this thread to be left unnoticed so i'm posting it here seeing that many christians just like me would want to support it.

You are right gilesaquil. It is a shame that somebody would advertise something like that. I will not be swayed but what makes me angry is that some poor soul will be.

Whoa! Was he a priest or something? As far as I know, the Church doesn't go that far in...advertising (I think that's the also wrong word..."advertising" the faith...but just to illustrate...). It's depressing how people have the nerve to do such...but then they shouldn't be condemned by us, either.
Hm...perhaps the best thing to do would be to just stick with our faith...and pray for that (or those) misled soul/s. Don't be misled or too alarmed...though it is rather disturbing for us who know the truth...

Hello everyone. I wanted to share something with you. Yesterday I was up late watching t.v. This commercial (really not a commercial but I do not know what to call it) came on about this man claiming he is Jesus Christ. It had a number for people to call if the wanted to know more. I only saw it once and it freaked me out a little bit. I wanted to know if anyone else saw the commercial or what other people think about that.

I have not written here in a while and I really want to be an active member of the group so I will try to do better. I have read through the posts and I am so happy to see so many people joining. It is wonderful to see people joining without fear or regret! As for what hirarinotenshi wrote, it is hard to be a christian at any age. I am going through something right now but I have faith that God will see me through. Well to my fellow group members present and future have a very blessed day!!!

I read a really interesting comparison on spreading christianity and war today. :} It sounds bad but the title is actually misleading. If you get a chance to read it, the book is called "The Principles of War". Its out of print but I think you can easily buy used copies. Or email me and Ill email back a word document of the book(its completely legal, so dont worry).
