Oh a shame that the prerelease at my country is to be postponed. Well, i think that nature cannot be controlled.
Anyway, i am waiting to my prerelease. Cant wait more !!!!
i want more cards, more more more !!! And this new block set is to be awesome !!!

woooo....I like just realized its been like 2 months since I even looked at my cards =O

yall are lucky where I live the time I get to get new cards or even play is when my friend from my old neighborhoodcomes over . and he does NOT have very many good cards and the good cards he does have I dont get until he wants too try a different color deck or when there old enough to be illegal the sucky part is wal-mart is the only place I can buy cards
=(

Quote by Angel-on-Dragon[quo(...) dissapointed bby the fact that alot of the cards are jusr
rereleases of some cards. I mean they didn't even change the art on
some of them like Pacifism that was released back in 8th edition with
the same art. I mean don't get me wrong I like alot of the cards in
this series but some are just rereleases of the same card witha
different series tag

But isn't that the point of these editions? It's the basic sets with cards that have already
been there to have a good base.
If you want new cards you have to take the expansions like Kamigawa...

I guess I don't really know I started playing when Legions came out so I don't know how these sets work

Well the CORE SETs are made so everyone can take a look at old good cards in a more decent price and in this case, a different presentation than that of the original releases cards. This helps the new players to see old cards and encourage them to start playing good and perhaps to search for the old original cards.
This is just like a very little part of the great power you can achieve with some powerfull cards and incites you to get more, and more, and more, and more MORE MORE MORE MOOOOORE
ajajajajaja

Yes well some of the cards really aren't any different from their release in 8th addition which is baffling since they are pretty much the same. I mean they look the same from their 8th edition release albight a change in the series icon

Ah yeah, that is right. That was a same about the expansion symbol. I was expecting something new rather than have the same icon but with different number. There are also a lot of cards the same as the 8th edition, but we have new reprints, like verdant force, hells caretaker, new image at the allmighty serra angel and more.
Specifically, i think that at least the Verdant force reprint sucks, but well, i am not a developer.
XD

on Ravnica: 3 words: NEW DUAL lands. Like, damn. o_O

hahahaha, just got that BIG serra angel CARD !!!! It looks AWESOME.
And yes, i agree, it is the most decent Serra Angel image since the original one.

Cool the first Serra Angel that looks good since the 4th Edition :)

argh....last chance qualifiers this saturday, and I still don't have a decent deck...stupid cranial extraction...so damn expesive o_o;;

Well 9th edition seems kinda good so far, it is nice to see more Rebecca Guay's on Magic again !!
Some art loks pretty nice now and the core set is well balanced. I think is nice, but definitelly i do prefer getting the old version cards, not reprints.

Quote by SpystreakHas anyone
seen the new 9th Edition cards yet.

I've played a release tournament. I think my draw wasn't bad: Shivan Dragon, Royal Assassin and holes of Koilos. But I had really bad luck with playing.... Although my deck wasn't bad.
Anyway. there're really some cool cards in 9th edition.
