nyaaa i've just received the notification on my gbook on the ideas for the
doujin group :3 and i support support~~ though i'm
not very active in the doujin department (mostly due to the fact that i don't
have a scanner) i'll try my best i just had a
friend of mine scan in some newer doujins that i did so i might post 'em up
sooner or later.
Mmmnn I don't know... I think it should be one maybe,
since it's only going to be one artist of the month elected, ne? I think more
votes would do things more complicated, wouldn't it? ^^

perspective. This shouldn't be a contest, but a way of giving recognition to

this too...... competitive, formal and also, too complicated, since people would
have to give their opinion every week and sooner or later this would turn into a
nuisance and people would eventually get bored (since people usually have busy
lives and don't have the time to be browsing around every week), not to mention
the terrible amount of work that is going to be needed from the judges and
everything.
That's why, taking everything into consideration, I think we should call it 'the
artist of the month', that way, people would have one entire month to cast their
votes and wouldn't need to hurry, and also, there would be more time to count
the votes which, in my opinion would lower the amount of work every week. This
would also allow to choose the artist not only basing our decision in one piece
of artwork, but in two or three, which would enable us to get know the artist'
skills better.
For all this, I propose the following changes to the previous idea:
- There will be no judges, everyone will be able to give their opinion and vote
by posting in the GB of the group the name of the artist who, in their opinion,
is the best one, or the one who has made the most substantial improvements.
Several people will be then, in charge of counting the votes.
- There will be a month to vote, so everybody will have time to think and see
the piece of work with no hurry.
- Once one artist has been elected 'artist of the month' it will not be possible
to chose him/her again, at least, not until an agreed period of time, because if
not, we run the risk of seeing the same artist every month, and that is not the
purpose of this idea.

That would be a great idea! I can't possibly think of anything.. XP But that
would be a great idea. We couldn't possibly decide the artist of the week,
artist of the month would be great, and no hurry. I must say you've got a
brilliant idea, pegassuss! ^^
And I guess I'll switch that doujinshi display corner for one week's time to one
month then? So people here can see and look at the works members have done
throughout the month. And owh ya... about the one who's going to count the
votes... are you going to do that pegassuss? ^^

good points pegassuss... very good points... another thing we should add, is a
limited number of submissions to the contest per person... let's say 1 or 2
every week/month... depending... coz' otherwise there could be way too many
pictures to choose from >< and it would make it fair to everyone...

Ops... I guess I got quite quick the typings... Well to answer your question
Miyano... Actually I planned to use the 7 days sytem to post submissions. As in:
Monday...Tuesday... so forth. But then I think it's kinda troublesome. Plus I
don't go online everyday just to update
them. So... I've decided to make a one week limitations for submitting
doujinshis... and there will be this 'Doujins artist of the week'. And then the
next week, the old submissions will be taken off, and wil be awaiting for newest
doujins submissions. So... did this cleared your doubts? You can still ask if
you got something in your mind.

who wanna judge them can always write them inside the Guestbook or the

different time zone... and oh no! (Smacks head). We have to rethink about this
one. Or you guys have any idea how to make it recognisable that it's already
been 1 day? I know each time you submit a submission, there's always a time on
it so you can track on it. So... I guess we'll use that time then. ^^ In my
area, tomorrow is Monday.
About putting up doujinshis... we'll make it by joining toujin's idea. After 1 week of doujinshis
displayed, there will be the Artist of the Week announced. Sounds pretty
interesting.
Now, about putting up the doujinshis... I would gladly welcome volunteers to
help me out. I'll start on Monday and Sunday. And if anyone who volunteered here
get used to the system, I'll give Monday to you and I'll be in charge of Sunday.
How about that? I'll write the notice up there. Be sure to check out, it's in
