What are your guys' views on the state of the church? Is your church really open and accepting or is it unaccepting of certain people or of change?

hmm.. my opinion on the church worldwide is that in some places it's becoming really sad really..no offence but i for one am not for having gay preists and marriges... it's not like i explicitly hate them or anything.. but it's clearly wrong according to the bible.. and there are more cases of pastors abusing children and such.. Sometimes i wonder what is happening to the church worldwide.. but then again that's only a small percent of churches.. on the whole in some places it's really good, such as china, where the growth of underground churches is really really fast..

On a local scale,my church is generally open to most people and changes, but still we do draw the line at what is unacceptable according to God's word.

All in all i would think that it would be better if churches refer to God's word before accepting new things.. then at least there would be less problems.. ^^ .. well this is my personal opinion and i hope i haven't offended anybody and if i have i apologize...

Someone submitted a post a few weeks ago about answering questions.

I do have issues answering questions that could possibly put my beliefs at risk of being misconstrued. I try to keep a clear head about it and answer the best I can. If I don't know something, then I say that I'm not sure and try to get that person an answer as soon as possible. It's really hard, I know, but if you just reflect on everything you've learned then you're sure to find the right words to say! (and if all else fails, say a quick prayer for the right words!)

Wow, this club has been really inactive. It's time for a new discussion.

What are your guys' views on the state of the church? Is your church really open and accepting or is it unaccepting of certain people or of change?

Thanks for making the text smaller... My last post wasn't very clear, was it? Gomen, I should have proof read it.

*walks in.. and gets hit by large font...* x.x ..... anyways.. I would like to join.. ^^ .. kinda cool actually.. having a CF on MT ^^

Could someone fix this page so all the text is huge? I would like to be more involved in this group (I'm already a member) but whenever I try and read anything I get a headache.

Thanks!

Hmm...question to pose to any of you who care to answer.

Do you ever find yourself having a hard time answering a question (whether it's in a thread here or something else) because of what you believe?

Just stopping by...

Wow, now you can read it. Congratulations. I hope that God will send his blessings to all of you in this new year :)

Hey everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! >_<

I'd like to second that :) Merry Christmas everybody and I hope you all have a wonderful time over this very special time of the year...

You hi every one i just want to wish every one a Merry Christmas and gos bless youy all, see yah all around,

I is still difficult to read, I think the font need another color, like white.

According to the Bible (Revelations), first, the Antichrist will come, and terrible tribulations, and then Christ will come again, and take His people with Him (the church). It is not clear if we are goin before or after the tribulation. And then, there will be the Armageddon, in the Meguido valley, in Israel. And then there will be a period of peace (1000 years) when Jesus will reign over the world. And then, the world will end (after the last rebellion of mankind) and God will brings us over to a new earth. Every day that passes is a day closser to this future, and I hope to see this future during my lifetime, or from Heaven :)

Hey there! I love the layout! The font is a lttle too big though....ot's kinda blinding my eyes! Heheh!

Hello, I've been a christian for about 11 years now and proud of it =D I would like to join! <3

Hope the group gets more active.
Seems the schools are harsh on the administrators. I'm kinda having trouble with algebra too.

Well anyways I'll start a topic do you think the armageddon is starting soon? With all the money currency going toward US dollars and Euros? Also the tornados and earthquakes have been happening more recently not mentioning the terrorism. Where I live (Philipines) there has been a bomb attack in a mall. I think it wasn't a major explosion but it was a bomb. Thank God I wasn't at that mall that time.

Umm...is this better font size better, everyone? If not, let me or weedy98z know (he's now an admin) and one of us will try to change it again. Sorry about not being around to respond to your requests and attempted memberships; my schoolwork has been keeping me crazy busy.

Welcome to new members crispy808, janicehamtaro, mountain, and vatican92; I am so, so sorry it took us this long to make you guys members! And weedy98z, I've been meaning to make you an admin instead of a mod, but I kept forgetting...again, I'm so sorry, everyone!

How's everyone been doing? Things are going okay with me; I'm getting a lot of work in some of my classes at school so I've been pretty absent recently (one is my Bible class, too). So yeah...I'm going to try and make it a priority to check in here more often. God bless all of you, and until next time~

Yes please CLAMPchic please change the text to anbout one or two sizes down thank you
What's up every one sorry i haven't been on alot, school have to do the work or i'm doomed.
See Yah later

Oh yeah, and since this is a Christian group, can you (members) participate in my thread "How are Catholics and Protestants different?" in the science and religion section of the forum? I want some answers but not getting any until now

I agree about the text being to big.
It would be better if it was smaller.
At least it is not to small like the Jpop group.
I hope everyone has a nice day and take care.

the huge text around here makes it basically impossible to read.

Hello:
Just comming to say hello. I am a member of this group, and a Christian, but I don't have always time to show myself here.
I want to make some comentaries:
We are in november, at last, but since the last days of october there are a lot of publicity for christmass. Well, I know that this is a symbolic day, that the exact day when Christ was born isn't know but, why all this fuss? Christmass is in december 25, why announce it with all the anticipation? I love christmass, and christmass songs, but with all this anticipation one can get tired of it. I know the salesmans want to sell their products, but their antics draves me crazy!
And to the group staff:
My other commentary is about the font in this page, it is nice, but hard to read, you could put it a little bit lighter, so it could be read easily.
Thank you for reading my commentaries.

just interested in what christians discuss
- promise no mischief or anything, will be more of a passive observer :)
can I join?

Quote by beethovenHAy i have been looking for a few days now but i can't find a vers. that says something like "The wise man see trouble and hides but the dumb man wlks in to trouble and is punshed" something to that effect can some one help and tell me if it is in the bible i can't find it but one of my freinds from church claims it is there and he isn't known to lie

Quote by Proverbs 22:3/27:12 (NIV)The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and suffer for it.
