Minna means "all" or "everyone".

hi everyone :D

im really bord 2 :(

whats on ur minds :)

aaahh bored.....wat shall we talk today?>.<

sonic: calm down lah, so scary;p

oh yeah,welcome shikra!^^

["quote"=shinori]SonicWind - Wow, you're a very lucky person. Where do you make these kind of pen-pals? Is there a certain site for it?

Ilona - Thank you for the 'Pera Pera Penguin' tip! It reminds me -- I haven't started to read my Geisha book yet~ ^_^

Go to JapanGuide, babe! That's where I found my Japanese penpals. Watch out for those looking only looking for sex. I haven't seen any of those kind of people in the Japan section... yet. There were a few from the european countries. Damn the UK! I'm allowed to say that since I live here under the control of an idiot-Prime Minister, filthy rate - Mayor, Deputy Prime Minsiter - incapable of running a country, scrooge hooker - wife of Prime Minister and pie eating fatty - all in common, corruption!

hello everyone, may i join...promise to come often :D

i wish i could speek, understand or write japanese :( . i promise my self ill learn one day :D ...only problem being some words i dont know how to pronounce...its kinda intresting actually. but i love the culture and history of japan. and all because i was introduce to anime :D. but its become a passion of mine throughout the years X-)

well talk to u all soon!

kryuzei & achaara: hahaha tat's right! so kryuzei has u got d meaning coz i'm really bored to talk bout suki and aishiteru...>.<
all: is there any member online now? omg i'm so sleepy rite now i guess i'll be going...byeee

The difference between "suki" and "daisuki" is the same as the difference between "kirai" and "daikirai". The dai addes emphasis. Words that will come up as love in translation: Ai, Koi, Suki.

*nods*

Quote: kyurzei: daisuki is really like (haha, i remembered daisuke from dnangel,,,anyone know why i remembered him?)

because with can't say daisuke so he says daisuki instead of daisuke in front of riku.. >.<

hellow minna saaan!

kyurzei: daisuki is really like (haha, i remembered daisuke from dnangel,,,anyone know why i remembered him?)

To Kryuzei->Daisuki means 'to really like'

Anywho, hello everyone and all that :) i've been studying some japanese with 'pimsleurs speak and understand essential japanese' but i've only done 7 lessons so far. I've never gotten thru the eight... im to lazy, but so far so good. Here is a pretty good japanese dictionary, by the way: http://www.freedict.com/onldict/jap.html

Sayonara

Hajimemashite minna-san, chingetscook desu, douzo yoroshiku onegai itashimasu.

Hopefully that will make sense to most of you. =)

To any of the administrators,I have something to add to the lesson:
'I should be saying that' -kochirakoso
You're welcome-Do itashimashite.
Do you speak Japanese?-Nihongo o hanashimasu ka?
Pleased to meet you.-Dozo yoroshiku.

Finally, a place were I can learn Japanese romanji. I hope I'll get better.

I love this group now i can learn some japanese

even so, what is "daisuki" means in english ?
is it "really like" or "important person"...? eeto..

Quote by alminaerrr... aishiteru isn't really recommended... more used in movies I think.

in anime we hear more :
"suki", "suki desu" or "daisuki"

But 'suki' means 'like' in English, it's not a strong word and you can almost say it to anyone else. ne? :D

Quote by WingsofFreedomi've always wanted to speak japanese
my grandma taught me but i forgot all about how to speak it^^'
and i dont think gr.6s learn japanese that early...or do they?

So what age is it ? (sorry, I am not a native, and those kind of things were really what I was interested).

Actually it's said the younger you are the easier it is for you to learn another language. But if you were taugth, it may be easier for you to learn.
